Hi I was wandering if this is a thing people have done at their table. He not been place at the table yet,he a 5 in rogue going down thief sub class and 3 in monk way of shadow.now here where the title comes, I understand rogues and monks need their bonus action to do certain skills. My thoughts is can a rogue now make a sound able reason to us hide as bonus action instead of hiding in the dark or behind objects but hide to hide their next attack to get advantage.
Yes. Any time you can make yourself unseen, you can attempt to hide. Having good dexterity and stealth proficiency help of course. And when you are hidden, you will have advantage on your attack unless something else is canceling out that advantage.
There is a difference between a Dexterity (Stealth) check made to hide and one to move silently. When you are hidden, you normally move silently since you are both unseen and unheard, and get advantage to attacks being an unseen Attacker.
But you can also move silently in different circumstances, which don't rely on being unseen but on moving silently in itself. Boots of Elvenkind for exemple, give advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks that rely on moving silently strictly as opposed to hide, like the Cloak of Elvenkind.
Personally as DM when determining if one move silently, i don't require an action during the movement. The Hide action will be used when attempting to hide instead.
Okay cause here I was thinking, cast pass without trace losing two ki but the fun now starts now. Combat starts pass without trace still up you still up +10 to stealth, bonus action to hide your movements not yourself just the movement for your attack to get advantage on it.
Also worth keeping in mind that if you're relying on the benefit for being an unseen attacker, then you need to avoid being seen before you make your attack; it's not enough just to be hidden when you declare you want to attack, you need a way to attack without being seen as you do it.
For example, you might fire a shortbow from an area of darkness that the target can't see into (target doesn't have darkvision), or you might use cover to get behind the target and approach from where they can't see you (though your DM might make you roll Stealth again to check you don't make too much noise), and so-on.

That why I feeling details is important, this idea come from Kung Fu movies with sword play in it. You know the part where the swordsman pose is so open that you are not sure if he going to block, dodge,or attack only for the attack to be so fast and on point the other attacker drops(sneak attack)

I'm not 100% certain I understand you, but to be clear, you can't hide while observed without a special rule saying so, and Pass Without Trace does not provide you with said special rule (and neither does anything else on Thief or Shadow Monk). If you're asking if you can attempt Stealth just for advantage on your next attack (and while moving in to attack), the answer is no base and also no with the build you're suggesting. However, note that all Rogues have access to the optional ability Steady Aim from Tasha's Cauldron of Everything to let them use up their bonus action and movement in order to make an attack with Advantage. You simply would not be able to move into position (and you wouldn't roll Stealth, it would just happen).
If you want to see what a rule that lets you hide while observed looks like, lightfoot halflings and wood elves can both do it, but there's literally nothing in the rulebook to tell you so; we know the answer because we have access to the Sage Advice Compendium (link goes directly to the relevant rule so you can see it).
If the target can see you (you are in the open) you can’t Hide and get the advantage for sneak attack. The rules for stealth/hiding are not written well in this edition.

This is fair, I would notice a 3ft tall object covered in a veil of shadows if it step out into the open. This topic mostly started from me thinking outside the box, if my dm don't allow it I still got fast hands which I can us flash bombs with.

It can depend a lot on how strict your DM is.
