I am currently playing a Blood Hunter Character in my groups campaign, I have only been playing a D&D for about a year and i am still trying to be better at the Role Playing aspect. I know that with being a Blood Hunter they are always trying to find the balance of not crossing that line of becoming what they hunt I recently talked to my DM about exploring that side with my character and crossing that line. My character is already seen as this guy that is always carrying this hate around and kind of a loner in a way but is always trying to do the best and be a good guy. The other player in my group is playing a Blood Hunter who happens to be my characters brother but he is much more optimistic and has his shit together than mine. I guess where i am stuck is how to go about role playing my character from going Neutral to Chaotic Neutral ( maybe almost slightly evil). The other part of it would be how would i do that in a way that i don't seem like a jerk to my other party members . Any opinions or idea's are welcomed. Thanks!
My best advice: don't. What I mean by that is, don't let your alignment dictate your actions. It should be the other way around, if anything. If you want your character to seem like he's falling towards an evil side, then describe him as ruthless in combat. If it's more of a chaotic thing, then there are plenty of ways to be chaotic towards any NPC, while not necessarily being a dick towards other player characters

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?
