I have a Noble High Elf Level 3 Warlock and I am looking for some sort of TV show/movie/book character to draw inspiration from. I want to make her RP more interesting as I interact with my party but am struggling. I imagine her as some sort of BA character who is not quite royalty but knows how to handle herself (like Wonder Woman?), particularly her staff and bow. In my party, I am the only female and have taken over as "mom" of the group to our particularly difficult/child-like Sorcerer Aasimar who lacks any sort of self-control. I am currently chaotic good (I killed a man to end a bar fight that was getting out of hand), but haven't completely followed that. Feel free to give suggestions as to what direction I should take my character.
Below is her backstory: I come from the land of Tahrein. My father and I live just outside the boundaries of the capital of Tahrule –the castle from where the Liadon’s rule. Our house is certainly not a castle, but it is no meager dwelling either. My father does very well as a noble merchant. I also come from the long line of royal and noble blood on my mother’s side – the Liadon family bloodline – though, I have been forgotten about by those ancestors. I have not spoken to them in years, but as long as I keep their good name, they are satisfied. Although, I would still do anything for them. My mother died when I was young and it almost killed my father to lose her. All I have left to remember her by is the crown she donned as a child. All my life, my father has tried to win me over with gifts rather than attention and affection. I assume in fear of getting too close and losing me too. So at home, I have a closet full of all the latest clothes, shoes and jewelry, and anything else I could want. I had the finest tutors growing up and my father had me trained in hand-to-hand combat, as well as simple weapons. I prefer the short bow. He would often send me on missions for him and though he never accompanied me, he wanted me to be able to protect myself. During my travels alone, I often felt as if I was being followed, but never menacingly. It was almost as if my follower was protecting me. I’d always get a strange feeling before someone approached me. No one has ever been able to surprise me. My father sent me on a quest to find information about my mother’s family and how powerful they actually are. On a mountain top, I met a faerie. He was kind and seemed to care about me. He promised to never leave my side as long as I did what he asked. He said he would protect me and care for me like a brother, though I suspect there may be more to his motives than he says. He speaks to me through visions and dreams, or through other beings I meet along the way. Only once have I seen him in his true form and it was terrifying. I immediately regretted my pact with him, but I dare not cross him. I am here to follow his demands, at any cost, and complete his tasks so I can finally be free.
Something I've seen when considering character concepts is that it almost always comes down to being aware of balance. Not necessarily that your character has a personality that is balanced (ie, tragic backstory, but is still upbeat about it, or something along those lines), but rather that you (as the player) are aware of how your character might be imbalanced and considers that as you play out the role. Just a musing on character creation the way I've had the most fun doing it.
As far as your character, I wonder if you couldn't take a page from John Constantine's comic book, lean into the dark/fantastical elements of your patron relationship while still pulling it back with a rooted and conditionally loyal personality. A bit of a planner, manipulative with the interests of others at heart, and not particularly trusting of others.
Have you read The Black Company books? Perhaps Croaker would serve as inspiration, both for how your character. He drew the attention of his employer, The Lady, who was a powerful sorceress who was fairly evil. the Lady took an interest in him and followed his exploits far more closely than was healthy. he dare not disappoint and he dare not disobey.
Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.

Just an idea - hope she plays out well.
