If you play as an Way of Ascendant Dragon Monk Dragonborn (UA) and take the attack action while level 5 or above can you replace 1 of your attacks with the Breath of the dragon class feature and the other attack with racial breath weapon ?
Breath of the Dragon
3rd-level Way of the Ascendant Dragon feature
You can channel your ki into destructive waves of energy like the dragons you emulate. When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can replace one of the attacks with an exhalation of draconic energy in either a 20-foot cone or a 30-foot line that is 5 feet wide (your choice). Choose a damage type: acid, cold, fire, lightning, or poison. Each creature in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw against your ki save DC, taking damage of the chosen type equal to two rolls of your Martial Arts die on a failure, or half as much damage on a success.
Breath Weapon
When you take the Attack action, you can replace one of your attacks with an exhalation of a magical energy in a 30-foot line that is 5 feet wide. Each creature in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature takes 2d8 damage of the type associated with your Chromatic Ancestry on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one. This damage increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th level (3d8), 11th level (4d8), and 17th level (5d8).
Sorry if I have put this in the wrong section, thank you in advance for any replies
Different features. You either do Breath of the Dragon as an action or use your Breath Weapon in an attack. You can't use Breath of the Dragon to replace an attack even if you're a UA Dragonborn.

What? The feature as written, as the OP quoted, says "when you take the attack action on your turn you can replace one of your attacks with [this class feature]." The Dragonborn UA description of its breath weapon has the same when you take the attack action you can replace one of your attacks with the racial feature. Both Breath of the Dragon and the Dragonborn's breath are available to a PC taking the Attack option. I don't see anything written saying a character capable of multiple attacks can do the twofer.
So to the OP, interesting catch and I'm wondering if anyone else has caught this too. It looks like you're correct in interpreting the respective UAs as written. I don't know if someone has done some theory work on how much that buffs a UA Dragonborn following the way of the ascendant dragon. If both UA concepts survive to publication I wonder if there will be some nerfing.

I completely misread the Monk ability. I'm so used to Monk abilities taking a whole action that I glanced over the "replace an attack" part of Breath of the Dragon. So yeah. They obviously work together.
