I'm multi classing my sorcerer with a celestial warlock to give me some healing abilities and to get eldritch blast. I'm having trouble thinking of terms for the pact. I'm leaning towards trying to make a pact with a pegasus, but I'm not locked in. Anyone have any tips? I'm just having trouble getting started. Not sure what an eldritch pact would involve or if it could just be something as simple as "do this favor", "collect this item" or "kill this enemy ". Not that there's anything wrong with those, I just feel like I'm taking a cop out and being lazy.
Mainly just looking for any tips or something to get me moving in the right direction.
It could easily be as easy as "do this favor". Perhaps it could be something like steal a book from some cultists which contained the true names of some demons/devils, and the celestial couldn't do it themselves because the area was warded against celestials. Perhaps it's rescue a paladin who was captured and is about to be sacrificed. I find it easier to believe that an Angel would make a pact than something like a Pegasus or Unicorn, angels need things done and have to play by rules which may not make much sense. Knowing more about your character's background would be helpful in coming up with a good idea.

Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.
if it's a celestial, it can be easy. I imagine it just being like "Hey, I want some cool powers to do good guys things." "Well, ok. Just don't spend it all in one place.". If they're good aligned, I just think they'ed be cool if you did good things.
Character is kind of the classic "cocky guy always looking for a fight". Was a part of the crew of a pirate hunting ship but got kicked off for disobeying orders and trying to keep going in a fight that was already lost. Our party has had a few encounters recently where my character has been the only one left on his feet, so both in and out of game, I've definitely realized the need to add some healing abilities. Thought about that being part of the motivation behind seeking out a pact. To try and protect the other party members. Also he realizes that his tendency to fight at the drop of a hat may not be the best idea.
Your patron could be Yathaghera, the Winged Queen, a Pegasus demigoddess who dwelled on the island of Evermeet. Perhaps you were shipwrecked or tossed off your ship for disobeying the captain. After washing up the shores of an unknown island in the trackless Sea, you were greeted by Yathaghera who offered you life-saving magic and safe passage to the mainland. In turn, you made a pact to protect unicorns, Pegasus, and other fey creatures whenever called upon by Yathaghera.
I agree with the others about the angel thing. As long as you're doing good or doing their required tasks you'd be ok in their eyes, but I offer a new alternative; The Coautl. They're ancient servants of a dead god that are extremely ancient and wise. If your pact is with one of them, perhaps they foresaw that your future has great promise and offer their power in hopes to mold you into a heroic figure, or maybe a Coautl needs a mortal servant to fulfill its task.. Or maybe it just took a liking to you.
Celestials are probably the most chill patrons you could have, as long as you're doing good deeds most would be find with lending you their strength.

Also known as CrafterB and DankMemer.
Here, have some homebrew classes! Subclasses to? Why not races. Feats, feats as well. I have a lot of magic items. Lastly I got monsters, fun, fun times.
