Abandoned Image

You were abandoned by your parents when you were young, found in a small village left in a back alley wrapped up snugly in a blanket. All that was on you was this blanket, and a torn off piece of paper with your name written on it. Along with the gem they have left you with. You were taken in by an older women of the village, a Fey and spirited away to the Feywild. Within the confines of this mysterious magical realm, those taken in such a manner usually do not survive long especially when Hags or other dark Fey creatures are involved. However, some do manage to avoid such a fate and are raised as slaves, servants, playthings, or companions, etc. You were more fortunate than most of your ilk surviving long enough to demonstrate a natural connection to the Feywild and reveal yourself to be Feytouched, a kindred spirit. Earning your freedom you were then permitted to come and go from the Feywild as you please.

She raised you lovingly, but after 7 short years she passed on. After her death people of the village came with torches and pitchforks to chase you out, either due to your Tiefling appearance and a superstition that you may have caused her death yourself. You've always been alone and have done things your way since. You ran and ran until you were completely lost in the wilderness around you. The beasts and plant life of the wilds around you seemed to hold some sort affection for you, as you were always provided with whatever food you might need. You had to figure out survival tactics on the first day. You have been in the forest for so long, you have come to respect nature and protect it. When you see someone harming nature, you interrupt them and try to convince them not to, be it by word or sword. You have become known to the surrounding villages (besides your own) and they have come to know you as "The Lost Boy". You don't care to know other people and try to leave a conversation as soon as possible for it being to uncomfortable for you. Animals tend to like you and help you when you by warning you of danger. You've noticed when discovered by a large dangerous creatures that they leave you alone unless provoked. Your house is created in the base of a tree in the midst of the forest, you have never seen anyone within 5 miles of the tree. You assume no one knows of its location. So you stayed and prospered until something pulled you from your comforting home.

Discovery of a Druid

You were wondering through the forest one day when you were around the age of 16-18 and while on your venture you discovered an opening hidden in the trees and in the opening was a ginormous tree. The tree was larger than any other you had seen before, at its base were flowers unlike to any you’ve come to know. You noticed that on one of the branches, there was a very small person with clear sparkling wings sitting down looking at you, it seemed to have a yellow and white glowing aura all around it. You noticed it gave you a quick smile before your eyes faded to black and you were back at your house. You couldn't tell if it was a dream or not, but on that day you swore to always protect the forest in hopes to find the tree and the peculiar being.

Feature: Feature: Kindred Spirit/Nature Blessed

Even though you may not be of actual Fey blood or racial stock all Fey you encounter will recognize you as Feytouched and treat you as one of their own. You know the customs and culture of Fey society and find acceptance in their communities.

Feytouched that leave the Feywild will automatically succeed on any saving throws needed to retain their memories of their stay in the Feywild but such memories can be jumbled or a little hazy and contribute to their overall eccentric behaviors.
