but at the end of that paragraph it stats:
"If you later gain the Pact of the Blade feature, this benefit extends to every pact weapon you conjure with that feature, no matter the weapon’s type."
does this mean If I have Pact of the Blade I can summon a polearm and still be able to use my CHA?
Just keep in mind you can't make legendary or sentient weapons into a pact weapon. So you can only use your CHA on one handed legendary and sentient weapons, everything else is free game.
Still kind of weird about that restriction, since it means most Pact of Blade Hexblades won't be using Blackrazor.

Yes, you can use the pact weapon with the Hex Warrior feature.
Just keep in mind you can't make legendary or sentient weapons into a pact weapon. So you can only use your CHA on one handed legendary and sentient weapons, everything else is free game.
