There are some major inconsistencies in the race selection menus. Some races have a short list just naming the racial traits along with a link to a detailed description(such as the Aarakocra or Half-Elf), others contain an almost word-for-word copy of the detailed description while also linking to the detailed description (such as the Deep Gnome), and varying levels in between.
In addition to the inconsistencies none of the Genasi include a list of languages and there are some bits of formatting that is shown Air Genasi: [condition]incapacitated[/condition ] [spell]levitate[/spell ]
Earth Genasi: [spell]pass without trace[/spell ]
Fire Genasi: [spell]produce flame[/spell ] (produce flame[/spell ] is in bold for some reason?)
Water Genasi: [spell]shape water[/spell ] [spell]create or destroy water [/spell ]
Rock Gnome: ([skill]History[/skill ])
I don't know if these are supposed to hook into the compendium or if they're just text formatting tools but they don't seem to be working as intended.
Edit: for some reason they link correctly in this post making it hard to demonstrate that they aren't working in the Character Builder
Edit 2: I have intentionally added spaces in the closing brackets for each of these to break them in this post but please note that the added spaces are not there in the Character Builder
I'm aware that not all content is going to be available in beta, but I can't select Great Old One as my warlock patron and can't select Book of Ancient Secrets as my pact boon (having selected Pact of the Tome)
One suggestion I'd make would be an optional generator for race height and weight. Failing that, put the units in the text box because I was unsure whether to use feet, centimetres, kilos, stones etc.

For the beta, only the rules and options provided in the D&D 5th edition SRD, D&D 5th edition Basic Rules, Elemental Evil Companion are available in Beyond. Once the full platform launches later this summer, the core rule books and others will be available for purchase, and the content within will be available for those that purchase, or have access through a DM's subscription.
i noticed there was a home brew button witch i checked to let me add in a race for goatfolk but it didn't give me that option to insert it. was only a mild inconvenience but overall this character builder is the bomb. I would say opening it up for home brew stuff would be a plus.
Aside from that i think adding in a dice roller would be amazing as well. Being able to just reach over on your phone and hitting inspection and it will do a dice roll for that or a str check. all good possibility. Just imagining how the next evolution of DND might look like with all this digital possibility.
Oh and one last thing. There should be a manual override at some points so you can fill in empty spaces yourself and make adjustments where needed. makes it hard without it when trying to implement a character from a current campaign that is not necessarily in the DND base supply.
Overall 10/10 would pay for something like this. Keep up the amazing work.
The only recommendation I would have at this point is adding a filter feature to the manage equipment function. It would be nice to be able to sort by weapon types, armor types, etc.
I love what you've done so far. I must have made a couple of dozen characters by now, just to see how easy it would be to quickly navigate through the character sheet on desktop and mobile during a game.
Just a note, though: on mobile when viewing the character sheet the white content link text at the top - are almost invisible against the white border between the header and the page background. I need to zoom and move the screen just to be able to read the text. With a 'mobile first' attitude I could see this being an issue.
For reference, I use Google Chrome on a Pixel.
Thanks,

On the Sorcerer class the draconic resilience feat does not seem to be applying to my AC it applied the HP but my AC stays at 12 no matter what i do. i have also not chosen a background could that be affecting it as well
As the DM of the campaign, I can view my players' character sheets, but trying to go through and edit them redirects to a 403 error page. I checked to make sure it wasn't that the builded was down by going into the editor on one of my own characters and that worked just fine. Must be something with the DMs permissions.
The dragonborn's breath attack doesn't show up under Attacks, it shows up under Limited Use. While this is mostly personal preference, the way it's laid out now is counter intuitive. If I'm looking at things that I can do during my turn, I want all of the attack-type actions right next to each other, not (literally, I might add) on the opposite corner of the page.
The drop down menu for adding equipment is a pain. Other than that it's cool. I'd suggest a check list for equipment with boxes to check off on one main page. These checked items would be imported into the character. This would be much faster to create a character and easier to find stuff.
When will the other subclasses be added to content? Very few of my characters are of the subclasses available. Just one. And only two of my players' characters are of these very limited list of subclasses, which has turned off all of my players from joining/using DnDB.
Character Sheet Question: In the attacks column, if I have two light melee weapons the damage in the drop down menu for both items show Dice Roll+Ability Modifier. However, that would only be the case if you took the "Two-Weapon Fighting" feat. Is there a way to adjust or show the difference?

Good suggestion, I think the character sheet would definitely benefit from the ability to designate an "offhand weapon"
I put this in the bugs forum yesterday but thought I should post it here too: Magic weapons do not have a weight value listed which becomes very important if you play with the variant encumbrance rules (as I do). Magic armours all appear to have the correct weight values.
In the equipment section of the character sheet the "More" button allows you to select information about encumbrance, which displays the information specific to your selection at the beginning of character creation. However, the variant encumbrance rules only list the encumbered and heavily encumbered thresholds. It does not list the total carrying capacity and push, drag or lift thresholds from the basic encumbrance rules, which should still apply under the variant rules.
In the equipment screen, in addition to the general improvements in selecting equipment, I also think it would be useful to track quantity and have that appear in the item header such as "Dagger, +1 (2)" or "Arrows (19)". Furthermore, on the issue of encumbrance, it would be useful to have the ability to assign items to a container so that if I have a Bag of Holding or Handy Haversack I can put stuff in it and reduce my carried weight.
Hello to all, and thank you for everything it looks pretty cool!
I'm not sure if this is the right place to write it down, nor if anyone else has already made the remark, but I'd like to report two missing objects/races in the character creator sheet: I can't find the forest gnome in the races list. I had some difficulties to find the leather armor too, because it appears as "Leather, leather"; no "armor" keyword. If this remark doesn't belong to this topic, could you please let me know where to post it?
Thank you once more, and good job to everyone working on that project!

Only Basic Rules/SRD content will be available during the course of the beta. Upon launch, all further content will become available.
As for leather armor, have you used the search tool for 'Leather' or 'Light Armor'?
Yes I found the leather armor using only the "leather" keyword in the end; it was a remark about the UX :) Aren't forest gnoms part of the basic rules of the 5e? Nevertheless, if so I'll wait for the launch to finish my character's sheet. Thanks again!

For basic rules and SRD, it is intended the free material provided on the WotC website.
