are either of you able to expand the item in that view, by clicking on the section for it? Doing so should make additional controls visible, such as the [remove from collection] button.
Yeah, the item in my case doesn't seem to actually exist. If I click on the name itself to open the detail page, I get a 404 not found. When you try to expand the item section, instead of populating the section data it replaces the entire page body with the content "20182018".
I believe in my case, the existence of the item in my collection is related to another bug which I've reported in a support ticket.
I seem to be having the same problem with my Homebrew Collection. I tried to remove an item from mylist, but when I try to open the item in question (MaterialGenasi by canewolfconram), nothing happens. When I click on the name itself it takes me to the "404 Not Found" page. "https://www.dndbeyond.com/homebrew/creations/view?entityTypeId=1228963568&id=6158 ".
A similar thing is happening in my Character Builder with one of the Homebrew feats I had added a while back (Firearm Specialist). I later removed the Feat, but it continues to appear in the dropdown Feat menu of the "Character Builder", even though it is no longer in my HomebrewCollection.
is there anything I can do to remove these items? I'd appreciate any help.
I'm not sure Xanatoz :( Your issue sounds similar to JoshBrodieNZ, but not quite the same as mine. Either way I think that it's something that we can't really do much about unfortunately.
I've got the same thing. Once upon a time I added a homebrew feat named 'Blade Mastery'. It got removed (it came from a UA publication, so that was in order), and now I can't remove it from my collection.
Had a mod that was going to look into it, didn't hear anything, this issue probably got lost. Can't successfully expand it by clicking on the blue 'plus' sign, can't successfully expand it by clicking anywhere else, can't successfully access the feat by clicking directly on the name. A 404 comes up when clicking directly on the name. My screen comes up with that '20182018' text and nothing else if I try to expand it, but the URL doesn't change when I do that. Same URL stays in the address bar, the page goes blank and '20182018' is up in the top left corner.
Yes, I'm told it's not as simple to resolve as hoped though.
The issue seems to be when the homebrew that is in your collection has been deleted or removed, so whilst your collection page still shows it as in your collection, when you try to open it up to access the buttons (like REMOVE) it can't display the page for that homebrew, so no buttons.
So when I look at the My Homebrew Collection page I see two entries for an item named: COPY_OF_Hew
When I on the items, or try to expand the item using the + icon at the end of the item a page comes up that simply says "20182018"
They literally do nothing and I don't know how they go there or what to do about them.
You can see screenshots of what I am talking about here: https://imgur.com/a/aoYcz
Any help would be appreciated, thx.
Been more than 5 months with no feedback, hopefully it's okay to bump because I'm still seeing this annoying issue...
I also have a broken homebrew item in my collection, displaying the same behaviour.

No, when you try to expand it all that comes up is a white page with the text 20182018 in the corner.
Here's an animation showing what I am referring to: https://imgur.com/a/NHbEpf0

I dunno if it helps at all, but these two rogue erroring items only show up in my homebrew collection page, not my homebrew creations page.

Was really hoping that the recent Homebrew update would fix this, but still having the issue :(
@badeye feelsbadman
Just checked, seems I still have the same issue as well.

I have this issue... months later. I guess it wasn't fixed? I have got a few homebrew races that I can't remove from my collection.
I've asked a member of staff to look at this.

Thank youuu! :D
Similar issue with a 404 and can not be removed:

I raised this with staff during a meeting yesterday and it is absolutely on their list of known issues to be resolved.
I can't give a date, but there are plans to resolve a number of reported issues (of which this is one) over the next few weeks.

Awesome, thank you!
Just confirming - this is still on the radar, right?
Yes, I'm told it's not as simple to resolve as hoped though.
The issue seems to be when the homebrew that is in your collection has been deleted or removed, so whilst your collection page still shows it as in your collection, when you try to open it up to access the buttons (like REMOVE) it can't display the page for that homebrew, so no buttons.
I have a bunch in my own collection :(
