I'm currently on the Master subscription. I can see it in my purchase history and it shows that it has not yet expired, however the subscription is broken. I can't open My Characters (it shows that I currently have 11/6 characters so it's tripping over), I can't access the Encounter Builder, and the main page is asking me to subscribe with a free trial. If I try to use the free trial it kicks me back to the main page.
I think someone needs to turn it off and back on again...
I'm having the same issue. I've been a Master Tier subscriber for over 4 years now, and I can't access anything. It was working fine yesterday, and now when I try to do anything I get the message:
Couldn't Collect Payment
You no longer have access to the subscription benefits. If you have further questions please contact Customer Support.
I cleaned out all cookies and caches and restarted my router as advised on the troubleshoot page, but nothing works. I have a campaign to run tomorrow night, and this is ridiculous. WoTC wonders why D&D Beyond is losing subscribers, this is why. I refuse to pay for a product I can't use. It should not be this difficult in this day and age to access the stuff I paid for!!
last post is from 2017, it is now 2024. Why on earth does this website not allow users to make their own changes to their payment methods?????? Why do I have to submit a stupid ticket to wait for some random joe in a cubicle to get my account straightened out? Why is this even an issue? Are you that scared to give users control of their own accounts?
I think I am having this issue as well now? On my desktop, I can view my characters and everything and it says I have the Hero tier under "my subscription" but then when I click on the subscription button (the one not under my user icon), it takes me to the Sign Up for Free Trial thing. My issue is that my mobile app no longer has any of my characters on it or anything. I know that my credit card expired and I thought I updated the payment information for the new one, but I cannot tell. Was anyone able to find an actual solution for this? This "Megathread" starts like 7 years ago so idk what different issues/solutions have come up over the years.
Zanthy, I believe there is an issue with the synchronization of your accounts. Sometimes that happens, not sure why though. I had to resync things earlier last year as I was having similar issues.
I really think if you purchase a physical book from the store that Wizards gives you a key for a discount to the digital book. Its only fair that the venders that keep DND get a chance for a profit by selling the books. The DND stores and game stores are vital for a community game to exist.
I have the Master Tier subscription... WTF is going on?

Your current D&D Beyond Membership is: MASTER ( slots). To continue, select up to unlimitedcharacters to activate. Your other characters will be deactivated until you restore them by deleting an active character to free up a slot, or by adding more slots with a D&D Beyond Subscription
My subscription is paid in full for the year until december.
Thanks for the links, I'd confirmed my subscription was still active on the first one so I'll raise a ticket on the second.

I really need this fixed. I am going to have to cancel the groups gaming session I had planned to DM this weekend.

I'm not sure why, I pay monthly for a Master level service but one week before renewal it's booted me back to only 6 character slots

I'm having the exact same issue, have you figured out how to fix it yet?
