Many monsters have incomplete (or no) tags. For example, searching by "Mind Flayer" only brings up the variants from Volo's, not the main two from the Monster Manual.
I'm not sure if I am missing it, but when I go to a monster through the menu at the top and bring up say a Yeti, it brings up all the game stats for the creature. But if I want to see its background, etc. I then need to open the compendium and search in the monster manual to find the creature again. Is there a link that I am missing that takes you straight to the source document at the right page?
Hello, not sure if it has been mentioned or this already exists but it would be fantastic to be able to create my own list of monsters for use in a campaign of a few encounters I know I'm running in a session. So in my content area I could have pre made lists of monsters stored.
Same goes for items, spells (aka a spellbook), conditions or rules, pretty much anything in the compendiums.
I guess a way to save my searches into my own lists of things effectively organizing it into my own custom session handbooks
BTW love the interface and overall experience with beyond, just wish I could save and bookmark content easier.

Thr ability to "favorite" elements into lists is definitely on the list. We'll update when we have more to share.
Some of the monsters in the compendium have texts and descriptions that are not available in the listing.
I'd like those description be available on the monster page accessed from the listing. Or alternatively a link back to the source in the compendium(s).
Just a heads up, the formatting on "Advanced Telepathy" and "Prone Deficiency" under the Flumph page needs to be in bold.
Thanks!
And the thing's language note is out of order. It's the classic error of putting the language before the word understands in the phrase "understands [language] but can't speak". I've pretty much given up on reporting that error, I've seen it so often.
All the custom monster adaptation from digital contents unlocked are missing... I expected to find them at least in the digital edition of the adventures...
Going to make an example: Rocktopus from Out of the Abyss. I had to homebrew this, as I had to do for the lots of NPC described (with names) in the campaign module...
Having paid to have the same digital content I already paid buying the hardcopy, does'nt mean I don't expect to get something more... at least those monster and NPCs already compiled.
Or do have I to homebrew all of them and deliver them for public use?
Thanks in advance.

From SKT, just that I can remember off the top of my head: Klauth, that green dragon, the friendly frost giant (7-8 letters, starts with H), the ice spiders, any number of Uthgardt, the friendly cloud giant, the various giant lords, King Hekaton, the thunderbeast skeletons, the various giant lords' families, and Sansuri's aarakocra simulacra.

from what i see in market place out of the abyss have 40 new monsters ... from what i see in the out of the abyss compendium there is apendix C 20 creature apendix D 8 demon lords... that doesnt make 40 so those you talk about might be the missing one and not set in the database as the other monsters

The Rocktopus is a giant octopus with a single additional ability, as covered in that compendium page. Monsters and NPCs that are found in the listing are based on actual full stat blocks for those creatures, where the Rocktopus does not have one. You shouldn't have to homebrew anything - you would run the monster with that single extra ability.
We have statted out variants occasionally, especially if the Challenge Rating changes for the variant from the original creature, but this should be considered a "bonus" and not an expectation.

An ice troll is a troll with a single additional ability, as is a scrag. Klauth (or whatever his name is) is an ancient red dragon with enough additional abilities to increase his CR.

To repeat my statement - we have statted out variants occasionally, but this should be considered a "bonus" and not an expectation.
We could potentially revisit some of the exceptions/ variants in some of the adventures at some point, but the standard procedure will be to offer statistics for those creatures that have an actual stat block in the supplement.

So, getting all of them would be a fairly low priority, then?

It might be a fairly low priority, but it's at least on the team's radar now.
In the MM Compendium, it would interesting to have in the navigation bar to the left some sub-name because there is a lot of scrolling to do for the dragon as an example:

Firstly, I wanna say hiw impressed I am with monsters. They're super easy to navigate and filter as needed, allowing me to have primarily undead, aberations, fiends, or whatever category I want for a particular campaign or one-shot. The images are super helpful in allowing one to visualize the monster, and the pronunciations, for monsters and races alike, are marvelous. Overall, amazing work.
I believe I at one point saw a video here on DDB saying there was a plan to do monster CR scaling? Lemme know if I'm wrong, but if not I'm very much looking forward to it. Keep up the great work!
I've just purchased the Legendary Bundle and so far have been impressed with the content. Particularly the high red art etc. But here's an observation:
There's no monster entry for Zephyros, or the Lord's Alliance Shield Dwarves from Storm King's Thunder. Both these characters ask you to use stats of another and modify them. For small changes that's understandable, but given the tools you guys have created, surely having a dedicated stat block for these (given that they have a none trivial amount of modification from the base stats) is something you would consider? I mean, you even have a separate entry for the Ice Toads in Rise of Tiamat and they only changed like two stats :P
(Edit: It also occurs to me that doing so would require you guys to retag each mention of those modified monsters as a tooltip etc which is a touch more work.)
I imagine there are a few other monsters spread across the books with substantial changes from the base block that haven't been added.
Also, yes, I know I can Homebrew them Just thinking that if you guys did it once, you'd save thousands of DM of the hassle.

Apparently, those aren't "official stat blocks", so they aren't currently planning to do them any time soon.

As an example of what I mean, compare the the Rakshasa has a description in the monster manual:
https://www.dndbeyond.com/compendium/rules/mm/monsters-r#Rakshasa
But none on the monster listing detail page:
https://www.dndbeyond.com/monsters/rakshasa

In the MM Compendium, it would interesting to have in the navigation bar to the left some sub-name because there is a lot of scrolling to do for the dragon as an example:
Player since 1982 and DM since 1990.
