Thank you very much...and, if you would be kind enough to permit me, I have appreciated all the efforts from you and the team. The excellence in general and the communication in specific is outstanding. The monthly update video is especially appreciated. Thank you.
Being able to place items in containers would be quite helpful. Especially as it pertains to encumbrance, weight and magical bags like Bag of Holding and Heward's Handy Haversack.
It would be really cool if the digital sheet reflected the fact that the character was wearing armor that imposes disadvantage on stealth rolls. Say, by the text on the stealth skill turning red or (disadvantage) being displayed behind the skill, for example.
Thank you for your attention, and for the work being done on the site.
If this has PHB material why is there no "Wild Magic" for the sorcerous origin?
It only has PHB material if you purchased the PHB or the corresponding fragment of it from the market place. Otherwise, all you are going to see is the Free Basic rules material and the Elemental Evils player's companion material.

Is the basic encumbrance rules calculating correctly? i have a character with 13 STR but i have to go over 390 lb before i get dropped to 5 feet. Shouldn't it drop down when i get to over 195?
This should be working properly. Per the rules:
Your Strength score determines the amount of weight you can bear. The following terms define what you can lift or carry.
Carrying Capacity. Your carrying capacity is your Strength score multiplied by 15. This is the weight (in pounds) that you can carry, which is high enough that most characters don't usually have to worry about it.
Push, Drag, or Lift. You can push, drag, or lift a weight in pounds up to twice your carrying capacity (or 30 times your Strength score). While pushing or dragging weight in excess of your carrying capacity, your speed drops to 5 feet.
So, the 5 feet thing doesn't kick in until the twice your carrying capacity threshold is met.

I am betting that you are thinking of the Variant Encumbrance. Edit your character and go to "Home". I am betting this is set to "Use Encumbrance", change it to "Variant Encumbrance".
I’m not sure if I’m missing something, but is there still no character sheet pdf upload available?
Upload? What would you expect this to do? Just store the file like Dropbox or an online cloud storage service, or would you expect it to be interpreted and imported?

I am just reading the things that the encumbrance says in the character sheet "While pushing or dragging weight in excess of your carrying capacity, your speed drops to 5 feet." . I understood this as when i go over my carrying capacity (witch is 195 lb) it drops to 5 feet. Now i have to go over my push, drag or lift capacity (witch is 390 lb) before it drops and i thought that if i go above this i would not be able to move at all. Otherwise i could drag 1000 lb of plate mails.

no im not talking about it. i just think that there is a misunderstanding how the normal encumburance rules are read. Capasity normaly means maximum and with the way it works now you could drag 1000 lb of plate mails.
Ability to input lines of text in my equipment area. As it is now, I think the only way to put in all the random stuff we find is to create the item first and then add it. I just want to be able to type in my "monkey skull on a stick" without hassle.
Nevermind, I see there's a "personal items" thingy now! :-)

D&D Beyond can be used for free and contains information from the following "free to use" sources published by Wizards of the Coast: D&D 5th edition SRD, D&D 5th edition Basic Rules, and Elemental Evil Companion.
Content from other sources, such as the Player's Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, or Monster Manual, will need to be purchased from the Marketplace or accessed via another user sharing content with you via their Master Tier Subscription.

Thanks!
Twice carrying capacity -> 0 feet of movement
I'll agree with Pedantic (how apropos! :p ).
"Carrying Capacity" is a specific value, Strength x 15. You can carry things up to that value in pounds with no issues.
Over that, and until twice that value, you can lift something. You can also push or drag something, but your speed goes to 5 ft.
Beyond double that value, you can't lift, push or drag something, it's just too heavy for you.
I think he is thinking of the Variant Encumbrance.
I’m not sure if I’m missing something, but is there still no character sheet pdf upload available?
I've bought the PHB and XGE from Marketplace and disappointed that the "This Is Your Life" aspects from Xanathar's aren't in the character builder.
am i understanding this wrong then?
