You should have a random item generator, or a generator to change stats on items and monsters.
As the DM for my group, I often pick out monsters in the Monster Manuel that have WAY to high stats for me to through at my group. So I manually change their damage, AC and HP. Sometimes I pick good numbers, sometimes I don't. Programming in the "Monster Statistics by Challenge Rating" chart (DM guide, pg. 274) would be amazing.
Similar thing for magic items. Fire Brand swords that do more/less damage than stat stuff.
Also, random monster or item generators for real improv games. I have a random item generator on my kindle, can you put one in here?
They've provided a repository for items/monsters. You are still able to alter to your groups makeup... Why would the stats need to be adjustable on the website as a resource?
If we already have the books, why do we need any of this? Putting everything up as a resource is super helpful, don't get me wrong. I think it'd be really helpful to have a "rescale chellenge" button on the monster pages to do this waaaaaaay faster than flipping through 2 different books. They have pages upon pages in the DM Guide on making up new monsters, and having that put together in a generator would be very helpful. And having something to quickly pump out new stats would be as well.
Basically, I'd rather not have the page with a monster up and then having to refer to my notes anyway because I rescaled it. With the amount of modification I do (and many other DM friends) having the info alone on this site really isn't helpful. It needs to have some interactive settings for DMs to generate things. No point in using this if we just turn to out notes anyway.

I think that's the plan isnt it? right now its just phase 1. I think the whole idea will be allow such things.. I HOPE?

I would like to see actually pictures of the monsters. Something a little better than an icon. If I am going to use this having something to show players what they see would be really helpful.
Cheers,

It would be nice for there to be like rollable versions of the treasure tables found in the DM's guide. I like using those tables for simple one off adventure rewards and being able to easily hit a button and get a treasure chest for my party would be nice. Being able to do that from either my laptop or on an app during the adventure would be even better and save time when planning an adventure.
I have a Random Loot Generator on my Kindle where someone plugged in the ENTIRE generator and ALL the items from the DM guide. You even have settings for coin only, single item, multiple items, or hoard, the challenge level thereof, and how many times you want it to run. It's really helpful for generating money when my rogues pick pocket, or items in a treasure room. I'd like to see that on here as well, so I'm not hopping between the kindle, books and notes. Then being able to pick a specific item in the list and seeing the stats would be nice as well. Can't do that on my current generator.
Something as simple as a "by the book" random generator would be great. Set a couple of variables (level or rarity or class or type or whatnot) and then... bam... here's some stuff from the books.
We're doing our own book on Kickstarter! It's going to be amazing--300 pages, art, and so much high quality content you'll be drownin' in it... Click here to check it out and sign-up!
My favorite generators are the Donjon, 5e generators. they have a bunch of different useful D&D generators. From entire dungeon generators, to the patrons at a local tavern. http://donjon.bin.sh/

I would use this feature. Would be a time saver, I'd imagine.
