Krackle would stick to the relative warmth of his carriage. He had slept to many cold nights outside and we happy to have the shelter provided by he newly purchased mobile home. After feeding Jr. he would spend some time interacting with the other members of the caravan before eventually retiring to the Carriage. He would invite his companions to join him in sleeping in the carriage if they wanted, and would offer to keep watch while the others slept if they wanted... looking out the window of his carriage.
Zeds is definitely taking an overnight watch. Possibly two shifts. He figures he can always grab some extra sleep in Krackle's carriage after the sun rises and they are underway again. Overnight he wants to get an extra look at these new additions... Do they have baggage or belongings? Can they be engaged in idle chit chat? Do they want to pass some time playing cards? He's not necessarily sure they are cultists but he doesn't buy that they're just average travelers who stumbled upon the caravan.

“Sterling, you’re a holy man, man of the cloth. Why don’t we start a prayer for our safety tonight. Bring us the light of the dawnfather upon us.” Said Ironthar when they all stop to rest.
(I will continue on as Sterling can jump back in when he comes back)
Zeds notices the newcomers have no baggage or even a simple satchel. The man in red robes is open to some chatter or eve a card game if Zeds is interested. The being in white stays at the fringes of the circle of wagons making it clear with his folded arms that he/she rather be alone.
Well if there is no juicy information to be gotten despite his gentle efforts to get them chatting, Zeds will eventually take a turn catching some sleep. But while awake he is doing his best to spy on these newcomers and try to see if they do anything suspicious... Besides just being them.

Zeds watch is uneventful though as other go to sleep in their tents the 2 newcomers seem to not be sleepy at all and stay standing with the man in red speaking to the being in white rags.
Late in the night all of you hear a hacking cough from a nearby tent. The teamster inside can't seem to stop coughing. It's a terrible cough with a wet sound at the end, perhaps vomit or something else.
Zeds groans and flops over, putting an arm over his ear to try and quiet the sound. After a few moments of this not working he curses and eventually sits up. "Who is that?" he grumbles to whoever else is in Krackle's carriage, or to himself. Doesn't much matter, he's not really expecting a response. He curses again and puts his boots on and steps out of the carriage - the cougher doesn't seem to be stopping so he may as well get up and see if they're going to survive or what... As such he slowly makes his way up the train of vehicles listening to see which one it is coming from.

Krackle stirs and wakes up from his slumber. He had been curled around the dragon egg and trying his best to keep it warm. When zeds moves to get up, The kobold decides to follow after gently placing the egg back in its chest and covering it with a bedroll.
Zeds finds cougher near wagon 3 and it sounds like whoever they are they are coughing up more than phlegm. They sound like they are struggling for air.
Zeds looks around quickly. Is he the only one here? Surely it's not one person per wagon, where is everyone else? But no matter, Zeds will climb into the wagon to try to get a look at just what is happening...

You see a man in his early 20's coughing up blood as he claws at his shirt. He looks to you with pleading eyes. The teamster next to him is lying still unmoving.
Krackle stands behind Zeds but moves into the tent quickly once he sees the what is happening. He moves towards the coughing man, looking for any kind of wound or damage... trying to decide if there is anything he can do. After a couple seconds he nudges the unmoving person next to him, "Hey! Get up! Can you help?!" Krackle asks as he looks from the dying man to the sleeping one...
Zeds moves to the unmoving person immediately once Krackle moves to the choking one. He checks first to see if they are sleeping or dead. How to think someone could just be sleeping through this going on right next to them. If they seems to be sleeping then Zeds does whatever he can to awaken them. If not sleeping... Zeds does a quick look around to see who all is around, if nobody but Krackle and the choker, then Zeds will pilfer any valuables the unmoving guy is discreetly them check on the choking guy...
"Is he wounded or sick?" Zeds asks curiously and wonders where the new weirdos are. Big coincidence for this to happen the first night after they joined the caravan...
(Sleight of Hand to steal from dead(?) guy discreetly: 19)

There seems to be something lodged within the man's throat. He is unable to extract whatever it is as it is hard to see with the blood being coughed up.
The unmoving man still lives, but just barely as he seems very pale and only breathes shallow breaths. He seems to be in a coma.
Zeds steals 39 coppers from the man and an old sandwich. He also has a dull dagger on his belt.
Zeds will do what he can to awaken the coma-guy. A slap across the face, calling into his ear, some violent shaking. It's about the height of his medical skills.
"Beats us," Zeds answers Ironthar when he arrives. "Coma guy is just out of it and choking / dying guy we found this way..."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Krackle would begin shouting louder, attempting to wake up the camp. "hey! hey! I think we are under attack!" the kobold would shout as he looks around for help.
OOC: if Krackle is aware that the man is choking on something, he would attempt to reach his small hand into the mans mouth and attempt to pull it out. Slight of hand? 15

Do you take shifts or does everyone go to sleep.
