The stone door is unlocked and untrapped...as far as you know. 

(OOG I know, I know... I shouldn't tell you this...but this is the right door to move the story along. I am just happy for progress and no more locked, trapped or demonic doors! Thanks for hanging on, I know it's been a pain. If this was around a table we would have been done with this section in like 15-30 minutes...lol)

Evan: " Come with me, here ", then opens the stone-door.

Ivor is wary of the mystic powers of all doors now.....he lets the others go first.

Crudely executed symbols and glyphs, scribed in bright green dye, decorate this large irregularly shaped crumbling chamber. A large pit in the center shows evidence of a recent fire. A metallic cage in the middle of the southern wall contains a gaping hole and stands empty. A small wooden bench draped with green cloth is next to the cage, and several small objects rest on it. A bedroll lies near the wooden bench, and the sound of whimpering comes from inside.

Evan tries to discern whose that whimpering is. (Perception: 15)

Ivor wanders over to the bench to check out the objects on it, making sure to stay away from any doors.

Fin goes to the bedroll and opens it up, trying to see what causing the whimpering.

The metallic cage is all but destroyed. (OOG Bree, Nature or Survival check please?)

Ivor, you walk over to the bench and see that it seems to serve as a tiny altar. Resting on it are containers of green dye, a paintbrush made of goblin-hair bristles, and four (4) tiny jade figurines of dragons. (OOG Ivor, Perception check, please?)

Finny, you and Evan walk up to the bedroll. Evan, you can definitely tell the whimpering is coming from the bedroll and whoever is making the noises of sorrow and pain are coming from within it. Finny lifts open the bedroll and sees inside a small reptilian creature, a kobold. He has rust colored skin and an array of horns cresting his head. His body is scarred, with bite marks and claw marks all over it. He is curled into a ball and as you lift open the bedroll the wailing increases. He lies there shaken and weeping, not noticing your presence. 

"Thozz wretched goblinzzz...they zzzolez her...my Calcryx..." you hear it say through its deep mourning.

Evan tries to shake gently the kobold, then he says: " Can you talk? What happened to you? "

Evan toward Bree: "Please, Bree, can you try to calm down the kobold? Not even it could resist your charm."
