"Kat!" Thell says as he runs through the hallways of the Castle and nearly runs into Kat int he process, "My...stuff...whew that was a run...I need my stuff do you have it?" 

OOC: To be fair, Thell literally just witnessed a Miracle, so I feel like elation and an uplifted spirit are appropriate for any humanoid.

Kat says "What stuff?" and proceeds to go through his pouch, upending it in the middle of the hallway spilling things everywhere, apples, random coins that roll across the floor, several old tomes, an old cookbook, a scroll case that looks familiar, and all of Thell's stuff.

"Oh hey look I found this cookbook!" and he'll show it to Thell "I can't read it but the pictures look tasty! Maybe I'll see if the Princess can help me translate, then I can cook a big meal for everyone!"  He looks pleased with himself. "Oh and I think you dropped this scroll again....you should keep better track of your stuff" and hands it to Thell.

He goes back to looking at the cookbook "I bet my cousin Momo could read this, she's good with arcane stuff...."

OOC I am really curious to see Kat's family tree. I bet it is huge.

Thell begins to quickly gather up his things, taking a few moments to lingers on the shadowy ebon disc that was his holy symbol before placing it back into his sleeve. He nods to Kat's whimsy, "I bet she could, but I am not sure we are going to be around much longer or all that, we need to gather the others and find Bocat, I am hoping he or the pixies might know of a way to get out of here before we go in front of the court." Thell begins moving back towards the room where Breeze and Bree were but then turns around to look at Kat, "Did you really slit Nine's throat?"

Kat looks at Thell and says "Yes, I am sorry, he was breaking the party apart.....he made Bree run off, which in turn broke you, (why else would you drop everything and run in the opposite direction of Bree) and then Quaf followed after you, and then Breeze tried to kill me.  We can't afford any distractions, I need all of you.....well most of you at least, to help me kill Lord Etter."  

Kat will scoop up whatever random stuff was on the floor (even if it didn't originally come out of his pouch) and put them all back in his pouch.

Kat's not going to argue with you - he did it because he thought that was the right thing to do :)

(OOC - also FYI Momo is the new character I rolled up - the Wild Magic Sorcerer with a boomerang hehe she has enlarge/reduce and mirror image - which should make any game fairly entertaining)

The world shimmers again and there is another flash. 

 

"My dying wish came true, I got to see my little girl again. I'm sorry I wasn't there when you were growing up and I am sorry I could not find you after your stunning performance. It was worth every minute I spent in the Queen's dungeon. Don't worry, papa wasn't there for long. Just a month or so before I found my way out of it. But you need to take this. Keep it safe, and hidden the only way you can. Bree, we all believe in all of you. You can defeat him, my beautiful little girl who is now a woman. Be strong, but not for me or your friends. But for yourself! You've always been your biggest doubter, especially when the dice don't roll your way. Stay the course."

 

He places a heavy golden item in your hand, it is warm to the touch as if there was a small flame keeping it warm. He kisses you on your forehead before saying, "Once this is all over with, go look for her. She came back for us. But she is not how you remember her. Look for her in Baulder's Gate. She has been searching for quite some time for you, Bree."

 

Another shimmer and another flash.

 

"Be strong. I love you."
