(OOC - in PbP its hard to interrupt someone as they are doing something - you have to wait till after they post - if we were around a table as soon as you had said you were going to will the ring away I would have interjected - I don't know what Bree is supposed to do or not do - its not like Kat was trying to swipe it just because he could - he knows it important to Not-Etter and therefore important to him who is sworn to stop the rakesha - I'm sorry if I've frustrated you)

OOC: I understand. Thing is, you had plenty of time before I posted that the amulet went into the ring. If you had done it before I posted that, then sure, so be it, Kat swiped it. Bree would have plead her case against Kat having it. It was after the fact that bugged me. Can we move on please? I'm sorry I derailed the thread.
"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."

"I still don't like this Bree, he is powerful, very powerful, and from the looks and sounds of things far more cunning than all of us combined. We should find a way to instead destroy the amulet, or bury it even deeper in magic to where he cannot get to it ever. Maybe make a forgery so we can get our friends and family away safely."
"If this amulet is something strong enough to give him that much power, there's no way to destroy it. Or no easy way." Bree stood, fists clenched. "He wants the amulet and Kat. He has our family and friends. We can't give him what he wants, and needs to be stopped. I think we can all agree on this. My father..." she paused, choking up. "He said I have to keep the amulet safe, hidden the only way I can. If I keep the amulet in the ring, nobody can get it. Nobody. He'd be very, very stupid to try to hurt me. That wouldn't gain him anything. If he ever hopes to have the amulet, he'd want to keep me safe."
"He killed my father, Thell. He's going to kill your sister." Bree's face was expressionless, but the look in her eyes was pure determination. "I'm not giving up this amulet unless I absolutely have to. So if you can come up with a solid solution, I'm all ears."
Thell said a small prayer for Bree's father, he wanted to hug her and consul her but she didn't look like she was going to have any of that right now, and that was fine, "We can hide it, somewhere here in the Feywild..." Thell thought on that for a moment and then grinned, "...rather one of us could hide it, and then I could erase that persons memory of where they hid it. Then we could go face him with no knowledge of where the amulet is, and destroy him"
OOC: Wanted to make sure what I was missing here, how did he go about finding the amulet in the first place? How did we come into the possession of the amulet?
OOC: The thing that Kat said was 'no immortal could touch and no mortal could get to it.' Bree's father was dead when he gave it to her. So that means it was in the afterlife. I'm pretty sure someone will have to die in order to get rid of it again.
Bree perked up a little. "That's it. Thell, that's it!" She began to pace, her mind working through what she'd just heard. "That could work!" She stopped, smile on her face. "The amulet is already somewhere that nobody can ever get to it. If I forget about the amulet, I can't will it back into existence, right? It wouldn't even matter if you all knew about it, you could even tell him about it. If I never remember, it can't be found. Erase my memory!"
"Oh hey, when I was wandering around, I think someone dropped these books, I picked them with my cookbook in case we find whomever dropped them. Do they belong to any of you?"
Kat indicates the three old dusty tomes he dumped on the floor.
(OOC - they could be nothing but Gmoat did seem to draw my attention to them)

OOC: I can take a look at them. Gmoat, would I need an investigation or arcana?
((OOG It's like watching a show on TV, where you're telling the actors what is happening but they can't hear you... that's what I have been doing for 2 days now...hehe you guys are on the right track. I am really liking your ideas too. This is so juicy for me as a DM watching y'all try to figure out what to do and how to do it. I feel like I'm at the end of a novel :)

Your Investigation of the old tomes reveals no information that you find pertinent to your discussions. Though in pretty decent shape, they are dusty and smell of being unused.

Yes, old tomes in a language you can not read. Their purpose or intent, not really.
Book 1: This is the dingiest of the books, the script on this book is faded and elusive, scrawl by a fast hand. There are no pictures in this book, just words that go up and down.
Book 2: This book has more drawings than anything, moderately used, and the drawings are of symbols and designed patterns that are illegible to an untrained eye as to what they mean.
Book 3: This tome looks barely used, the penmanship inside is excellent and goes from right to left. There are minor drawings inside the book, mainly of beautifully drawn flowers and some fey creatures.

((OOG There are spells and items to read the unreadable... or, you found them in the Palace...maybe one of the people here can read them. If the books are of great concern to you. I don't want you to get your hopes up, they're cool but not pertinent to our story. I still think you should get them checked out just because...cool old Fey books will fetch quite the price on the material plane once you get back (to the right buyer, of course), especially if you know what they are talking about. :) ))
Okay, Quaf, Bree, Thell, and Kat have been discussing, for some time, what to do and how to do it. This whole situation has spawned some great ideas and some great plans. Really has all of you thinking and planning...
So, I will let the four of you do ONE and only one roll, with Advantage. You may choose from the following: Investigation, History, Arcana, Religion, and Insight. To aid you as you continue your discussions. Please let me know which skill you are using before your roll. If you have any spells or abilities that will let you add to your skill checks, you may also use them.
Lil Breeze, you are still taking your long rest and attuning yourself to your bow. ((OOG It's a really sweet bow that was meant for an NPC who never came with you guys... #sorryBocat lol But I think you'll make great use of it! :D ))
