As they walk, Bumble explains what she knows of the drift globe to Tarlin. "It should come in handy if we have to do any more exploring in these dim caverns, particularly for those who can't see in the dark."
Motionless humanoid figures dressed in dirty clothes or scraps of armor are propped against the walls of this cave. Some are little more than skeletons with wisps of hair and skin stretched tightly over their bones. Others are fresher. A few old shortswords lie on the dusty floor.
"Agreed. No sense in letting potential gain slip through our fingers, though." Shade creates (or takes another) torch and sets to work moving from corpse to corpse. First, a dagger through the head, then a search of pockets or bags. When all is done, Shade passes through the rooms once more and sets fire to the grisly scene.

The sight of the dead, along with the blaze, sends Decus back once more. The flames dance hypnotically and he can't help but hear the screams of those falling to Warforged blades.

You step out of the cursed cave as the flames engulf whatever is left of it. in the pockets of the corpses you fund not many thing of use, a locket, maybe memory of a past life, and some (8 pieces of copper) and a sword too rusty to be of any use.
Shade nods toward the inn, "We should probably collect what's due. Where did that innkeeper say to go again? Also, did anyone get proof of our works? I don't want them to think we're just....." Shade can't help but to smile a giggle a bit on the inside, "blowing smoke."

We should go to Garlen and tell him what we found. Someone is razing the dead in the outskirts of his town and by the numbers it is not something that just started. We also need to fing something about those believer fellows.
Tarlin spent their time walking back talking to Bumble to see if she could find out how the Driftglobe worked.
As the party enters the inn, Bumble winds through the crowd of jovial villagers until she spots the innkeeper. Time to put this village's fears to rest, and collect our well-earned reward. "Hello again, Garlen. As you can see, our party has returned from the Lance Stone, and I believe we've taken care of the cause of your missing persons. Perhaps we might discuss the details more privately, so as not to alarm your patrons?"
Garlen eyes open wide looking at your party "sure" is the only word that escapes from his lips as he starts going up the stairs. all of you enter the same room where your first meeting was held "what happened? " he asks as a smile forms in his face anxious to hear your story.
Shade trails behind the party entering the tavern, trying to decide what mask to show off. Upon arriving in the private room, a young woman's face simply replies, "Lonely men in secluded places should not practice magic."

Decus, having had enough of killing, skips the meeting with Garlen and instead heads to a corner of the Tavern and takes a seat. He pulls out his instrument and begins strumming minor chords, expressing his languishing of the killing.
