You're saying I can play a Warforged Bard? Because if so I will totally do it. I think having the Background of Far Traveler would be fitting here, I am a transplant from the Eberron world?
Not want to spoil anyone's fun but.. are we taking a look at our party?
Usually in Forgotten Realms races as kobolds and drows are Kill On Sight ( or run for your lives) as soon as they appear. To have this two mixed with a Paladin... seems highly unlikely.
Just saying that perharps we all must have to adjust our concepts to make the party able to work as a team. A paladin and a drow mercenary should be forced to work together if both of them had been imprisioned by mind-flayers in the Underdark, but if a drow enters the local inn half the common room will run for their lives, the other half will take arms and shoot before ask... and the paladin would lead the charge...
In response to Frandal: I do agree, but if you are in Luskan at the beginning of this mission, Bregan d'Areth is well known, specially because them with the dwarves from Gauntlgrym just rebuild the Hosttower of the Arcane, a well needed counterweight to the Five Captains (even though ship Kurt is run by Bregan d'Areth), so depending on where and when this starts, there would be less problems with the two-of them.
To the DM, I see I didn't make the cut so there will be no more drow in the party :) Enjoy the game everyone!

You did made the cut, i was waiting for your character and theres was a condition a was gonna make for the drow, (didn't know about the kobold auto-hate) but here goes for the two you can be drow or kobold but you have to hide from the townspeople for the reasons above mentioned, they will not hesitate to call the guards.

Ok, tomorrow morning this will start I will edit the first post with the characters aviable eiter in post or PM you have until then. Ninjacat you have to decide go in cover or risk it and be feared.
Proficiency: Light armor, Hand Crossbow, Longsword, Rapier, Shortsword, Simple weapons, Bone Dice, Thieves' Tools.
Languages: Common, Elven, Thieves' Cant.
Feat: Dual Wielder: I can use two-weapon fighting even when the one-handed melee weapons I'm wielding aren't light. I can draw or stow two one-handed weapons when I would normally be able to draw or stow only one. +1 AC while wielding separate melee weapons in each hand.
Thief, level 1: ◆ Expertise (Rogue 1, PHB 96) [with two skills] I gain expertise with two skills/thieves' tools I am proficient with; two more at 6th level ◆ Sneak Attack (Rogue 1, PHB 96) [1d6] Once per turn, I can add damage to finesse/ranged attack if I have adv. I don't need adv. if a conscious ally is within 5 ft of the target and I don't have disadv. ◆ Thieves' Cant (Rogue 1, PHB 96) I know the secret rogue language that I can use to convey messages inconspicuously
Equipment: Backpack with, 2 Crowbars, Hammer, 10 Pitons, 10 Torches, Tinderbox, 10 days of Rations, Waterskiin, 50 ft of Hempen Rope, Dark, Bedroll, Quiver, common clothes with hood, Belt pouch with 13 gp, leather armor, rapier, 2 daggers, short bow, 20 arrows.
Background:
Criminal:I have a reliable and trustworthy contact who acts as my liaison to a network of other criminals. I know how to get messages to and from my contact, even over great distances; specifically, I know the local messengers, corrupt caravan masters, and seedy sailors who can deliver my messages.
Personality: I always have a plan for what to do when things go wrong. I am always calm, no matter the situation. I never raise my voice or let my emotions control me.
Ideals: Freedom: Chains are meant to be broken, as are those who would forge them. (Chaotic)
Bonds: I'm trying to pay off an old debt I owe to a generous benefactor.
Flaws: When faced with a choice between money and my friends, I usually choose the money.
Most people who live in the Dessarin Valley have no idea of its long history. Old-timers nodding sagely by the hearths of the local taprooms sometimes observe, “These lands, they have old bones.” Most locals have no idea of how right they are.
It is here that you journey will start, as you walk along the long road you find a town a sign informs you that you are in " Red Larch", the town doesn't seem too big there are few people in the streets, and joyful sounds seem to come from a tavern not far away, the sun is setting, but there's still light and people around you keep staring at the strange group or foreigners that just arrived to the center of the town, its not every day they see a mechanical being walking on this lands
(Currently no one is aware of the concealed kobold underneath a black robe, in the center of the group).
Leaning on his quarterstaff, Taman points towards the tavern.
"Should we try to find some shelter in that tavern? At least a good dinner and something to drink will made us good. "
He left the fact that the sooner they go to a place where no one is staring at them, the lesser they will attract attention and lesser chances that the kobold will be discovered.
Evening draws people out of the streets toward company and comfort. This is the perfect time to infiltrate. Shade moved along the streets, wearing the mask of some woman passed along the road. Average face, average build, perfectly unnoticed and inconspicuous. The cloak is wrapped to hide the weapons and travelling gear, hood is close to avoid unecessary attention. Time to slip into the inn for some gossip.

OOC: Just so I can get a sense of familiarity, approx. how long have we been traveling as a group?
a week approx.
He left the fact that the sooner they go to a place where no one is staring at them, the lesser they will attract attention and the kobold and the drow will be discovered.
no Drows, he changed it to human , I did not recieved an answer from ninjacat (the kobold) so I'm asuming he is concealed
You arrive at the door of the "The Helm at Highsun"the local tavern, as you all enter you are greeted by a nimble human girl with blonde hair and a shining smile.
-what can i get you fellas?"- she says directing a smile towards Tarlin.
the inn is full of patrons all seem happy and various degrees of drunkenness, some farming tools rest in the walls. at the far end of the room you can see a stairway leading up, a burly man with a white apron is behind the bar tending to some patrons.
the girl points to an empty table beneath a window.

Decus's teal eyes read the words on the sign, Red Larch, a simple task now, but one that when he arrived years ago would have proved most difficult. "Food and drink, yes, I might be able to raise us some coin to aid with the cost of lodging and food."
Weaving in between the assorted legs and knees of the tavern patrons, Bumble climbs up onto a bar stool and grins over the counter at the bartender. "Hello there, my friend! My fellow travelers and I are new to this area, could you trouble yourself to tell us a bit about this place?"
