Grinmir looks at Jimjar, "I do think also we need to hurry"
Then turning to the 2 goblins "50% is a lot, I say 25%.. I think it's more than fair" : Persuasion: 11 "Also do you think you could also try to hide our tracks if we going this way, we need to be sure no-one can follow us..."
Then turning to the rest of the group, Griming asked if anyone could check by magic if our gems were cursed.

“25%? Does he think we’re running a charity?” Yuk Yuk frowns. “Now, now, it sounds like our friends are in a spot of trouble,” Spiderbait replies, “We can take you across safely, and cover your tracks. That’s not easy though. How about we settle on… 40%? After all, there’s no guarantee we’ll find anything.”
No one seems able to identify or detect anything about the gems, though some of them look a little worried as Valrish places them back in his bag.
"Fine 40% of the gold we find. Let's go then, and don't forget to cover our tracks..."
(OOC... which gems the goblins said were maybe cursed ? all of them or a certain one ?)
(OOC The black gems that Valrish took from the eyes of the spider statue back at the prison encampment.)
With no time to spare, you hastily agree to give the goblins 40% of any treasures you find. They then show you how to carefully walk on the strands of silk crossing the cavern. Once they're reasonably certain that you won't fall immediately, they set off down a long strand heading up and into the darkness. Yuk Yuk takes the lead, and Spiderbait takes the rear, making sure to account for all of the members of the party. All of this seems rather tedious to Oorr, who for the first time, has some room to spread his wings and fly up over the spider webs, though he has to be careful of hitting strands of web above him, as the webs criss-cross the chasm from top to bottom. As you climb, Spiderbait snaps strands of web with a knife behind you, providing fewer paths for anyone to follow.
Up and down, over and through, you travel for about an hour. It seems there's no end to the webbing, but the two goblins assure you you're heading in the right direction.
<SNAP!>
You hear the sound of a web strand breaking, then Prince Derendil exclaims, "Oh bother," as he begins to fall. One of his claws caught a strand and broke it, sending him and the others around him falling. He tries to catch another web strand as he falls. (Dexterity Saving Throw: 3) The large quaggoth reaches to grab a web, but his claws are out, and he continues to shred the strands. He falls 30 feet down, finally being caught in a large wad of spider webs below you.
((Yuk Yuk and Spider bait quickly jump to another strand. Eldeth, Stool, Sarith, and Bupiddo are not on the broken area. That leaves Jimjar, Shuushar, and the rest of you to try and save. DC 15 Saving Throw to keep from falling, and if you fall, 1d10*10 feet is how far you fall before you hit webs. At this height you won't hit the ground, so feel free to explain in as much detail if you fall or save!))

Valrish tries to grab onto some webstrings, but his claws rip through them. "Either what I heard about webs being stronger than steel is false, or my claws are strong as hell." He mutters to himself after falling onto other webs.

OOG Can I use a DEX check to try to attenuate his fall or even save him?
Oorr sees just with the tail of an eye what it's happening with the webs. With a powerful beat of wings, he flies toward the Falling Grimnir, trying to catch him.
Belwar, Grimnir, Valrish, JimJar, and Derendil all find themselves restrained by webs, but none further down than Grimnir. Oorr tried to catch him, but just barely missed grabbing Grimnir by his hair as he fell.
"Ugh, Spiderbait, I told you to watch that big one with the claws. This is coming out of your cut of the pay" says Yuk Yuk. "Yes, well, the webs must be very old to snap like that. I could have sworn we were walking on more fresh ones," replies Spiderbait.
Together with the others that failed to fall, the goblins make their way to each of you and free you from the webs. It takes some time, but eventually they make it all to Grimnir, and free him last.
Grimnir, when you come free from the webs, you spot something about 30 feet away, behind the group. It looks like some sort of large chest, caught in the webs.

Yuk Yuk turns to see the chest as well. "Ah, finally, I was beginning to worry this trip wouldn't turn anything up! Not that unusual, people lose stuff all the time coming through here. Especially those that ain't got us!"
