Narrak holds out his hand and sprays poison into Grimnir’s face, then darts around the corner. (Poison Spray, DC 13 CON Save, 14 poison damage on failed save.)
Grimnir, canalising his anger in his fist, runs toward the spellcaster and put himself in a good position
Angry, Grimnir instinct is to kill him outright, but he knows that it will be better to keep him alive for questioning. Grimnir directs his hits to knock the Derro out. Staff attack:20 damage 6 + 3 Fist attack:5 damage 3 + 2
rolling 2 more dice for the flanking advantage I forgot: Staff attack:20 Fist attack:14
In a final flurry of fire, fists and spider bites, the Ettin, death dog, and Narrak all fall to the might of the party. Grimnir holds the unconscious, but still breathing, Narrak by the folds of his robes. The arcane energies emitting from the symbols on the floor seem to die down, and the statue of the giant in the center shudders a little as the second head that was growing on it shatters and breaks apart.
With the chanting no longer reverberating throughout the room, an offsetting silence falls over the cavern. Aside from the statue in the center of the glyph, there appears to be another statue near a large chest in the corner, stacked up with some books and other writing instruments.
(OOG Out of combat now. There is an exit through a tiny passageway to the East, and the main entrance through which you entered on the West.)
The chest is made of iron, and is locked. Next to it is a statue of a stone giant with two heads, and some books with scribbles and writing in what looks like dwarven script.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Grimnir finally get a second of rest, the danger is gone. Being paralyzed so close to such a large creature made him think. " I need to be careful in the future, I need to move quicker. This is how I will stay alive". He then takes his second set of manacles and some ropes and makes sure the derro is tied up pretty solid.
Grimnir will first looks in the pockets of Narrak and the derros, then will look at the statues for anything particular.Investigation: 2 "Belwar, let's investigate this room, your eyes are much better than mine to pick up interesting things."
Looking around, Grimnir see Valrish with a odd book. Looking over his shoulder he can see some dwarvish runes.. "I can help you with that Valrish if you want, this is written in my people language"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Yeah, I don't really understand dwarvish that much..." Valrish says, fiddling a bit with the books before attempting to break the lock (strength check I suppose): 20

Grimnir, you find nothing in Narrak's pockets, but you do find a key around his neck. It is small and made of iron, and tied loosely around his neck with a leather cord.
You glance at the books, and can indeed make out the words in dwarvish, though some of the phrases and technical wordings are in familiar to you. It seems to be describing some sort of ritual.
The statue by the chest has a name scrawled on the bottom, "Rihuud," which you recall is the name of the giant that rampaged through Gracklstugh, and was later taken to be cared for by the Stonespeaker. It has two heads, and it looks like you could possibly break off the second head that was added to it if you wanted to. It has a strange feeling to it, a weight that is more than the stone that it's made of. Someone versed in Religion or Arcana may want to investigate further.
Oorr and Zippy will check on Droki and watch the entrance.
Droki is still tied up at the entrance, and there doesn't appear to be anyone near by. As you approach him Droki starts excitedly yelping, "Did you get him? Is he dead? Now you will let Droki go, and give me my boots and my scrolls, yes, yes, yes? You will be sure to see no more of me after that, that is a promise!"
"Droki, a wise Aarakocra once told me that patience is a virtue. Besides, where would you go now? These tunnels are full of monsters, demons! You are safer with us, now that your boss is gone."
"Droki, a wise Aarakocra once told me that patience is a virtue. Besides, where would you go now? These tunnels are full of monsters, demons! You are safer with us, now that your boss is gone."
"The monsters never bothered me before you came. What will you do with me if you do not give me back my boots and scrolls! Probably worse then Narrak. At least he was going to pay me. All you do is take take take!"

"He was paying you for what? I can pay you all the same, even more."
"For the things you took from me! Waste from the giants. Metal from the caverns for the Gray Ghosts. What does it matter now. You will not let me go! HELP HELP! I'm being kidnapped!"
Droki begins yelling at the top of his voice, the echos spreading throughout the caverns. Bats in the upper reaches flutter out of the cave entrance, down the hallways. He does not stop.
