Dropping my dart and swinging two handed Attack: 14 Damage: 7 Attack: 19 Damage: 2With the backhand.
(I'll roll with this this time but a couple notes: You may only perform one 'action' on your turn. You are alloted an action, a bonus action, and a reaction at the start of your turn each round. Somtimes you can attack As a bonus action. Bonus actions are not something you are sure to have. Some feature has to grant it. Toren, as a human has the Pole-Arm Master feat that allows him to make a bonus action attack with Quarterstaffs and Glaives. Any character can make a bonus action with a second weapon if they are holding two Light weapons (a staff is not Light.) You as a monk have the martial arts feature which allows you to make an unarmed strike as a bonus action (if the conditions are met as they are now.) You may use your strength or dexterity bonus to damage with that hit (as you cannot when dual-wielding) but the damage die is 1d4 at level 1 and it increases as you level up. Back to our show.)
'Ladybug' strikes with his Staff stunning the creature for a brief moment before whirling around and punching it with his fist still wrapped around the base of the staff.
D&D is very sensitive to attacks per round. Due to this, there are specific steps for encounter balance.
1. Determine XP Thresholds.
First, determine the experience point (XP) thresholds for each character in the party. The XP Thresholds by Character Level table below has four XP thresholds for each character level, one for each category of encounter difficulty. Use a character’s level to determine his or her XP thresholds. Repeat this process for every character in the party.

Player XP Threshold:
Zævrt and 'Ladybug' are both level one so their character XP thresholds are the same. Easy: 25 XP Medium: 50 XP Hard: 75 XP Deadly: 100 XP
2. Determine the Party’s XP Threshold.
For each category of encounter difficulty, add up the characters’ XP thresholds. This determines the party’s XP threshold. You’ll end up with four totals, one for each category of encounter difficulty.
For example, if your party includes three 3rd-level characters and one 2nd-level character, the party’s totaled XP thresholds would be as follows:
Easy: 275 XP (75 + 75 + 75 + 50)
Medium: 550 XP (150 + 150 + 150 + 100)
Hard: 825 XP (225 + 225 + 225 + 150)
Deadly: 1,400 XP (400 + 400 + 400 + 200)
Record the totals, because you can use them for every encounter in your adventure.
Party XP Threshold:
The party is composed of Zævrt and 'Ladybug' so we add their XP thresholds together. Easy: 50 XP (25 + 25) Medium:100 XP (50 + 50) Hard: 150 XP (75 + 75) Deadly: 200 XP (100 + 100)
3. Total the Monsters’ XP.
Add up the XP for all of the monsters in the encounter. Every monster has an XP value in its stat block.
Monsters Total XP:
Well, we can look at a few possibilities here. You may think that 1 Worg is medium for this fight and two is deadly, but you must consider the next two steps. 1x Worg = 1(100xp) = 100xp 2x Worg = 2(100xp) = 200xp
4. Modify Total XP for Multiple Monsters.
If the encounter includes more than one monster, apply a multiplier to the monsters’ total XP. The more monsters there are, the more attack rolls you’re making against the characters in a given round, and the more dangerous the encounter becomes. To correctly gauge an encounter’s difficulty, multiply the total XP of all the monsters in the encounter by the value given in the Encounter Multipliers table.
For example, if an encounter includes four monsters worth a total of 500 XP, you would multiply the total XP of the monsters by 2, for an adjusted value of 1,000 XP. This adjusted value is not what the monsters are worth in terms of XP; the adjusted value’s only purpose is to help you accurately assess the encounter’s difficulty.
When making this calculation, don’t count any monsters whose challenge rating is significantly below the average challenge rating of the other monsters in the group unless you think the weak monsters significantly contribute to the difficulty of the encounter.

Party Size
The preceding guidelines assume that you have a party consisting of three to five adventurers.
If the party contains fewer than three characters, apply the next highest multiplier on the Encounter Multipliers table. For example, apply a multiplier of 1.5 when the characters fight a single monster and a multiplier of 5 for groups of fifteen or more monsters.
If the party contains six or more characters, use the next lowest multiplier on the table. Use a multiplier of 0.5 for a single monster.
Monsters Adjusted XP
We have two monsters so we multiply the Monster total XP by 1.5. However, we have two characters so we must use then next multiplier; In this case, 2. 1x Worg = 2(100xp) = 200xp 2x Worg = 2(200xp) = 400xp
5. Compare XP.
Compare the monsters’ adjusted XP value to the party’s XP thresholds. The threshold that equals the adjusted XP value determines the encounter’s difficulty. If there’s no match, use the closest threshold that is lower than the adjusted XP value.
For example, an encounter with one bugbear and three hobgoblins has an adjusted XP value of 1,000, making it a hard encounter for a party of three 3rd-level characters and one 2nd-level character (which has a hard encounter threshold of 825 XP and a deadly encounter threshold of 1,400 XP).
Party XP Threshold: Easy: 50 XP Medium:100 XP Hard: 150 XP Deadly: 200 XP Monsters Adjusted XP 1x Worg = 200xp [Deadly] 2x Worg = 400xp [Torment XIII]

Sorry, while editing the post It did not notify me all the action. Making turn now.
I quickly follow my instructions. I move and curse this beast as my hex concentration was broken. I then strike it with my trident up its rump. While some might say this is for the crowd, this one was definitely for payback.
(This isn't your typical campaign or adventuring day. One Worg is equivalent or even less than one level 1 Josias in terms of attacks and damage. But the Worgs have higher movement and hp. I'm hoping to give you a 50% chance of success in a battle against me as it should be against a player.)
Eldin shakes his head and looks at the ale he was handed. He puts mug down on a table (if there isn't one in sight, he puts on the floor or gives it to a random person if there is one nearby. Maybe the paralyzed figure?). He takes his gold, thanks the medic and tries to find Josias to congratulate him on his victory. Eldin's eyes have regained their usual look.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"The creature lunges at The Dragon, and he falls! Zævrt strikes and brings the beast down!"
The Secretary walks over and casts Cure Wounds on 'Ladybug' (heal 9)
"Well welcome to the arena. I suppose by technicality we'll call that a win."
The crowd is cheering wildly, she smirks. "Ok, its all part of the show. Give them a wave." She waves to the crowd.
She leads the way to the prize room. "The next fight's a bit special. If you hurry you might be able to participate, too.
Tier 1:
The room contains every item from the players handbook weighing 70 pounds or less, armor of varying sizes, instruments, tool kits. There are also spell scrolls, every first level spell is present (as well as spells scrolls of a level for which a magic user of the characters level would have slots for), and an encyclopedia of knowledge. Reading these books will grant you proficiency in any tool kit or any one language, depending which book you choose. The books are magically infused to allow easy retention, but the magic is lost once used.
You gain 300xp each and are each awarded a purse of 100 gold coins.
As you set the mug on the table you had been lying on. You see a paralyzed Worg float by in the hall. There must be kenels or something down that way. The head medic is a heavy set gruff looking man with light colored facial hair on his cheeks and upper lip. He has a desk on one side of the room which occasionally has stacks of paper on it. There's 4 tables, or beds, same thing, around the room where unconscious, but stable combatants are brought to recover, unless they'll be fighting again.
Eldin keeps his mug full of ale on the bed he had been lying on for anyone that might find it. He then goes to Josias and says, "That was one hell of a battle. Congratulations on your victory. I hope to duel you again sometime in the future. So tell me" Eldin pauses, his eyes calm and a smile on his face. "Did that give you your confidence back?"
(edited from earlier post)afterwards he goes and checks on eldin before going to the stands. josias waits by the door talking to someone as the worg fight is going on. then he spins as a worg flies past him. noticing edlin awake. you know i thought you was gonna kill me. i dont know how i managed to not get hit by you. but my friend tonight we celebrate. drinks are on me. The next fight, by request, will have any and all interested players participate in a battle against an powerful Character build. I'll give you any details like where this came from, after the battle, if you like. I do hope this doesn't go too heavily one way or the other.
This fight will end when all of you or all of me are down. Nothing special. But we'll call it Out the Gate Lethal Opponent (or maybe this'll turn out not to be as lethal against players as it is monsters.)
The time: 3..... The last match just ended and clouds still fill the sky. Casting darkness in the arena held back by torches and Dancing Lights. (Do remind me when it comes up that Perception and Investigation checks that rely on sight have disadvantage for those without darkvision.)
A large group of combatants enter the Arena led in by Klong. Some of you know each other well some of you just met. Two new figures stand beside the announcer.
Two strikingly beautiful human girls, probably in their mid to late teens. They don't appear the sort you typically see in this place. They are similar height and build both a bit over 5 feet tall. Both are quite thin almost frail.
Their similarities only amplify their differences. One, blond and fair skinned, wears a set of Chausses and Greaves, apparently she has stopped in the middle of donning heavy armor to be introduced. She is dressed modestly otherwise. Her hair is clean and straight and its apparent she takes care to look neat. As she moves you can see she struggles a bit with the weight of half her armor. She carries an intricately carved wooden quarterstaff.
The other has short dark somewhat curly hair. She leans on a staff, or more like a loose tree branch. She has some soot smudged on one side of her face and wears a long tattered skirt and what's left of a shift. You can see she definately is not wearing armor. She does have a small wood shield tied to her back.
"Today a special treat! These two young ladies claim they can take on all challengers. Then the claimed they'd take in all challengers at once. I tried to dissuade them but they insisted. I've seen their work and I'll caution you not to think this barbaric. They can handle themselves."
He pauses a moment to think about that, and releases his Thaumaturgy he looks to the ragged girl. This close you can Barely hear him over the din of the crowd. "Now darling are you sure you want to go through with this? No one will think any less of you, either of you." She glares, pleadingly.
The Secretary somehow manages to sneak up on all of you, coming out for the introduction. She kisses the blond on the forehead with a smile. "You'll do fine, sweety" she slips off towards stands.
"Ladies and gentlemen, Adair and Daisy!"
"And fighting them today..." He looks over the group and exhales sharply. "All the people that were here before."
