When you guys said rapid development months ago I didn't think it would be so quick! Mad props to the DNDBeyond team!
Great work with the Player Tool App. Really a big step foreward and an great addition for the usability of the app. Keep up the good work! The integration is really nice!
Just some points I noticed/wanted to add:
Thank you for your hard work and this amasing app so far. The state it has now is really great and is a good tool to use for playing when you don't have an internet connection.
This app is fantastic! It actually helps a lot for me as the DM, trying to go through different NPCs quickly. Here’s a few things I’d like to see added:
- Don and Doff armour/Equip and Unequip weapons
- A death indicator (my PCs kill a lot of my NPCs lol)
- An integrated character builder
- An offline mode option(Yes, the online syncing is fantastic but sometimes my internet is really dodgy so I’d appreciate some sort of feature where I can still see my character sheet offline but it still syncs when I turn off offline mode, or something)
- A slider for Paladin’s Lay on Hands
Anyway fantastic app, keep up the amazing work
How do I post stuff?
Any information about if and when a light theme would be available for us who cannot use the dark theme?
I can’t seem to figure out how to prepare new spells on the DDB player app after a long rest unless I log into a computer on D&D Beyond and change out my spells there, it then updates in the app. Please advise if there is a way to do it in the app
As far as I know that's still an upcoming feature, but it is on the roadmap.
As soon as the app gets digital dice I'll use it during sessions.
Thank you
