Wizard's Servant Image

You lived your entire life in service to a powerful wizard, maybe you hoped that some day he might share his vast knowledge with you, maybe you were their servant because you were forced to through magical means, or maybe it's because you owed the wizard a debt. Rather than growing up learning a trade and playing with children your own age, you grew up learning to take care of the things your master was too busy or important to handle. When you were free from your tasks you used your master's library to learn whatever you could. Despite your willingness to learn, to your master you were always his servant and never his apprentice.

Skill Proficiencies: One skill related to the work done under your master (e.g. animal handling for taking care of your master's familiar), and one intelligence based skill you learned while in the service of your master.
Tool Proficiencies: One artisan's tools related to the work done under your master.
Languages: One language known by your master.
Equipment: A set of artisan's tools (one of your choice), a symbol (provides proof of working for your master), a set of common clothes, and a pouch containing 5 gp.

Feature: Servant

Your time serving your master trained you how to act in the presence of nobles and master wizards but only from the side of a servant. You may be able to hide your training as having manners and respect but nobles with a keen eye can tell the difference. A lot of your training has become muscle memory and you find yourself cleaning messes without thinking about it, or fetching something needed by someone around you without them asking you to. If you left your master on good terms than they may be willing to give you a letter of introduction or use their knowledge and connections for a small favor.
