Prerequisite: Requires a Constitution or Wisdom of 13 or higher

You have studied the flora, herbs, and plants of the world, devoted time and effort to learning how to make potions, and have achieved the ability to craft better potions with this knowledge.

You gain the following Benefits:

  • Increase your CON or WIS score by 1, to a maximum of 20
  • You gain proficiency with a herbalism kit if you don't have it already. If you already have proficiency, you gain expertise with an herbalism kit.
  • You are no longer required to be a spellcaster in order to create healing potions (but you still must meet the required level as per the "Crafting a Magic Item" in the DMG or as specified by your DM)
  • You have perfected your ability to craft healing potions, guaranteeing that you cannot make an error while crafting them during their brewing instructions and time. You reduce the time to make any healing potion by 25% (meaning it takes 3/4 of the time to brew healing potions).
  • When you make a healing potion, roll a d100 and consult the following:

0-25 = Your healing potion was not of your greatest quality brew and loose their modifiers to healing (e.g. a basic healing potion would do 2d4 instead of 2d4+2)

26-75 = Your healing potion was of you typical (average) quality brew and is just its standard version (e.g. a basic healing potion does 2d4+2)

76-100 = Your healing potion was of greater quality brew that normal and you may double its modifiers to healing (e.g. a basic healing potion would do 2d4+4 instead of 2d4+2)

  • As an action (three times per long rest), as long as you are not Blind, Grappled, Restrained, Incapacitated, or Paralyzed, you may imbue a healing potion, cure/antitoxin, or some other kind of beneficial/buff-like potion you make with the ability to be absorbed on contact/inhalation instead of typically by injection or mouth (see the details below)
    • Smoke Screen - you convert a typical potion into an AOE fume cloud. At the end of your turn, a 10-foot radius (centered on yourself) creates a cloud of fumes and gasses. Any allied creatures that are not Blind, Grappled, or Paralyzed may expend their reaction to inhale the potion. Due to this conversion, some of the healing is lost to the environment. Potions lose their modifiers (e.g. a basic healing potion would do 2d4 instead of 2d4+2)
    • Rain - you convert a typical potion into an AOE rain of potion droplets. At the end of your turn, choose a point that you can see within 15 feet. A rain of droplets spreads across a 20-radius and forms 10 feet above the ground. All allied creatures that are not Grappled or Under an Object that would block the droplets from touching them gain the effects of the potion when they start their turn. Due to this conversion, some of the healing is lost to the environment. Potions switch their positive modifiers for negative ones (e.g. a basic healing potion would do 2d4-2, to a minimum of 1, instead of 2d4+2)
