
With the fear of death growing closer, you feel spikes of power coursing through your body. Even on your last legs, with your last breath drawing closer, you now have the power to persevere in the face of an adversity greater than yourself. (A mysterious casino owner chasing a drugged rogue who owes him money)
You gain the ability 1d6+1 times a day to activate a last-stand mode when below 50% of your Max HP; the effects are listed below.
- Heal 2d10 HP when activated and heal 2d6 at the start of your next turn until the surge ends
(Effect can be stacked if you use multiple last stands below half health) (initial healing increases 1d10 every 2 levels; healing overtime increases 2d6 every 2 levels)
- Gain Resistance to all damage types for 1 round (the effect cannot be stacked)
- If you go down (unconscious) while the surge is active at the start of your turn, you succeed in all death saves/ heal a hit point, but the surge ends. You also use a point of the surge on top of expending the currently activated one. If none are available, suffer a point of exhaustion
- Surge is active for a Duration of 5 Minutes, and the time increases to 10 minutes if you know there is a hostile near you (Range of eyesight)
Ability automatically activates (Free Reaction) if you were to take more than a 1/3 of Max HP in damage, but resistance isn't applied when this happens
