In a post-apocalyptic, anarchist society, Brawler's Pit is one of the few safe places left in the world. It's multi-floored expanse seems to be all cobbled together around a small building that stood there long before the rest. The food and drink are exceptional, and there's always rooms open, as it holds a magical door leading to infinite tiny demiplanes containing comfortable living quarters. It's main attraction, though, is a massive pit where people can watch fights and bet, or even enter a fight if they're feeling brave. The tavern is run by a stout, muscular gnome by the name of Cahvni. He has a heavily scarred face with an eye patch over his left eye, and a peg leg on his right side. There is also a tiefling server by the name of Jolin. She is tall and slender, with a lean sort of musculature to her. She looks like the kind of person you really wouldn't want to mess with.

So basically a tavern and a pvp arena. If you want to fight, there are some ground rules. Characters made for combat must be no more than third level. They can also have one common magical item and one uncommon magical item. I trust you all to run combat fairly as I cannot be here very often.

And remember, it's an anarchy! Go have a blast

*sorry for the very brief intro, it's my first tavern and I hope to make different incarnations of it as I learn more about D&D and DMing*

 Jolin the tiefling server walks over looking tired and bedraggled, like she's done this far too many times before.

"OK might as well get this over with. Don't hold us responsible for any injuries, don't hold us responsible for any lost items, bla bla bla have fun, be entertaining for the crowd, good luck."

She slams the entrance door on your side of the Pit, locking you in because it's far too late to chicken out now.

(btw you'll see I added +1 to CON, that's because I gave her tavern brawler feat since shes variant human, but I dont have the PHB, so I have to add everything myself, but it all checks out to how the rules work)
