(So… back when I joined DDB I made a thread called the Kobold Cavern, but I was a silly noob and put it in general discussion… then the original kobold cavern died so now I’m going to remake it!)
This is a place to talk about kobolds. That’s it, anything kobold related, you can talk about it.
Rules:
1. Don’t be rude, we are kobolds, not goblins.
2. If someone doesn’t like kobolds, don’t be mean to them
The only published adventure that features kobolds that I know of is the first adventure in Tales from the Yawning Portal. And maybe Tyranny of Dragons, I’m not sure.

I really like D&D, especially Ravenloft, Exandria and the Upside Down from Stranger Things. My pronouns are she/they (genderfae).
What are your opinion on kobolds having distinguishable genders? I mean, obviously, the females wouldn't have breasts, but what about other characteristics? I was thinking that they should be indistinguishable from each other visually, but then I found out about Ixen the Rock Merchant, and despite them being visibly female I still enjoy the picture, although admittedly mostly for the novelty of it being a kobold rock merchant. It's a fairly popular piece of kobold art, so I might as well post it here for reference.
Ixen:

Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.
May each word that I speak be backed by each of my teeth.
Ixen actually does have breasts. She also looks less reptilian than I would expect a kobold to look.
That's why I was giving an example of something I didn't quite approve of, but still liked for some reason.
I understand. She actually looks almost foxlike to me. Like a red fox.
Hmmm... I don't see it myself, but I can imagine. Now, back to the original question: should kobolds look visibly different because of their genders? My opinion is no, but there are some exceptions.

I forgot. Dragons of Stormwreck Isle has a tribe of good aligned kobolds, including a kobold artificer (with a stat block, not a character sheet).

Maybe they could have very small differences? Like sexual dimorphism and all that.
