The year is 2050, and the world has ended. Ten years prior, a solar flare scorched the planet, turning Earth into an endless wasteland. Now life fights over what little scraps are left in this brutal version of what used to be our home.

A guy in a mask is lurking around, holding a rusty metal staff. He moves quickly, nervously, like a small creature wary of cats

The figure spots him, and waves silently.

"Now you can talk, why are you here?"

Does he keep the knife there though?
