first monster up: the Worst nightmare, CR 25!

lets assume they start sixty feet away.

the Worst Nightmare, at first, is a shambling, shadowy, aberrant mass of smiling mouths and eyes, but as soon as Tosu lays eyes on it, it shifts… it changes... Into whatever Tosu fears more than anything. (It functions as if it were huge sized, its aberration type.) make me a wisdom saving throw, as soon as Tosu sees it.

Tosu is immune to frightened, on his turn he will misty step 30 ft forwards and then run in 30 ft before casting Psychic Lance. Make an INT save.

while it can’t take any actions, the Worst Nightmare still can do one thing on its turn, which does not take an action. Tosu feels something try to make contact with their mind, a psychic tendril of terror. Wisdom save, DC 24, I’ll detail what happens if you fail.

The worst nightmare rushes towards Tosu, psychically rending Tosu’s mind.

to hit: 21 damage: 31 psychic damage.

it then casts darkness, centered on itself.

make another wisdom saving throw.

Alright! So far it does nothing, except the worst nightmare knows where Tosu is within one mile. At the end of your next turn, make another wisdom saving throw. (Again, Tosu does a lot more damage than I expected…)

Tosu heads back into melee and makes two more attacks, bonus action Hexblade’s curse.

Attack: 25 Damage: 45 + 10 necrotic + 27 radiant
Attack: 29 Damage: 44 + 18 necrotic + 17 radiant
