Hi everyone! So, I’ve had this idea for a while now, and I want to implement it here. You can join even if you don’t know the book series – but you should definitely read it, it’s fantastic. Aside from that, hope you enjoy!
Backstory:
Exactly 2 weeks ago, your life changed. You were outside for some reason – be it to garden, for an early-morning walk, but you were outside. Then, all buildings – and most cars – collapsed and vanished. As you stood around in surprise, you received a message from a system AI. It told you that everything around you had been repurposed for an 18-level World Dungeon, and that the entrances would close after 1 hour. You entered – for fame? For fun? Who knows – and began your crawl. And somehow – after all this time – you made it to the 3rd floor, appearing on various alien game shows along the way. And the fun is just getting started.
Lore:
For those of you who have read this series before, you know a little bit about what you’re getting into. For those of you who haven’t, that’s ok! I hope you have fun in this thread, and I’m going to give a little lore dump here:
Many years ago, there was a great volcano. Atop and inside it, there were various civilizations, including the Over City – a grand interconnected series of towns, cities, and villages -, the Hunting Grounds – a world of half metropolis and half jungle – and the city of Larracos, a home for the Semeru dwarves. And then one day, disaster struck. The Semeru, somehow, awakened Scolopendra, a giant centipede monster, who, in her rage, breathed out a poison cloud. It was called nine-tier because it attacked you on nine different levels. Over 90% of people died or were transformed. Some people were spared, but not many. So goes the fable of Scolopendra.
And how does this affect you, the crawler? Don’t worry! You’ll see soon enough.
And for those of you who don’t know much about the crawl? Here you go. This season is run by the Borant Corporation, who prefers the World Dungeon over Battle Royales or Land War. All of you have feeds, which people around the galaxy can tune into at any time. So, don’t forget to do well. Now, get out there and kill, kill, kill!

If someone asks you not to say something because it triggers them, then don’t say it!
Remember the rules of permission, permission to attack, permission to kill, permission to romance, permission to hurt, permission to do anything sexual. For other crawlers, of course. Attack the mobs all you like!
No godmodding or powergaming, even if you are a mod.
Mods: Just me so far, open for recruitment.
If I make a system update, add new lore/rules, or make an announcement, I’ll say so there and here.
Put a mob from D&D in your first post to show you’ve read the rules.
Character Creation:
One of the fun parts of this is, no limits! Well, almost no limits. You can’t play a child, as that is against the dungeon rules (canonically). Max limit for levels at the start is 5, or CR 4. You can level up as time goes on. You may pick any race, class, or subclass you like, even if it’s homebrew! Have fun! Oh, and no playing as a named figure from the books.
Side Note:
Carl, Donut, Katia, along with other people in the books, are in this dungeon with you. You may interact and even fight them, but you may not play as them.

a small creature (roughly 4-4.5ft) looks at it curiously, its head encased in a white, buglike mask or healmet, two pincer-like horns protruding from the top, and two eyeholes carved in the mask, only revealing darkness. his body was a pure voidic black, lightly wrapped in a leaflike cloak, on his back was a weapon, roughly the size of a greatsword, though the blade was triangular.
