I have been playing a female human gloom stalker ranger for quite sometime and she constantly weaves new clothes or outfits from the materials she finds or harvests from foes. I have quite a bit of material at the moment and was hoping for some inspiration on other outfits to make. I will make a list of what I have made already, with what material and why. Then I will give a list of current material collected and current ideas for future outfits. Ideas are greatly appreciated.
Finished Projects
Fine black and gold gown: Made from a few sets of fine robes found in an abandoned fort. This was the first outfit made and was used to show off her weaving skills and to look nice for a spring festival.
Mermaid Tail (Functional): Made from giant spider silk, some tar for extra waterproofing, and flakes of lapis lazuli to mimic fish scales. The tail was made since she didn't want to make anything normal with the spider silk like rope or a basic outfit and recently got a necklace of adaptation which allowed her to explore underwater. Function: gives swim speed equal to walking speed, walking speed becomes 10ft and you are considered prone, Don 1 min, Doff 30 seconds. Probably my favorite creation so far.
Starry night gown: A dark blue and black gown mixed with small crushed glow in the dark crystal leaves to look like stars. My character was given a gift that lets her summon stars to help with directions among other things, so she made this to mimic the gift she got. Also it looks really cool.
Iron thread straitjacket: So in the area we are in we found that they make threads out of metals for clothes and armor and what not. I already bought a steel thread gown and it would be normal for me to make armor sooooo we got this.
Materials on hand
3 outfits worth of spider silk
3 outfits worth of fine steel cloth
2 outfits worth of poor iron cloth
13 fine Renaissance styled male outfits (will be cannibalized for other clothes)
Current projects
Headless outfit: Got enough invisible silk from a special spider that makes whatever it covers invisible. I didn't get enough for an outfit but for a small accessory. So I will be making a hooded dark blue Gothic dress and make a veil to cover my head inside the hood to spook people who look at me. The world's Halloween is coming soon and I want to have fun.
So with this I'm hoping I could get some more ideas from everyone. Any ideas would be welcome.
Got some new materials to add to the list for accessories. A bouquet of fear flowers, a black rose that when approached causes the target to feel like their heart will explode. In response on a failed save they must move 10ft away from the flowers and can't approach for 1 minute.
Sadly they stop giving this effect after being picked. But might be cool to add to a creepy gothic outfit.

One last try. Any ideas? Hello?

You should make a steel cape that grants a bonus to AC, but is as soft as spider silk.
An Assassin of Random
Will try to post, but I have a busy schedule and have to attend to the real world.(Currently un-unavailable, whatever that means...)
"Whatever it was, it was my sister, not me!"
I play Avalon Farwood, Esthvele, and Anacra in the Tales of the Adventurers Tavern.
*Sheeeeez this is from a long time ago... a lot has changed...*
Possibly. It would be mechanically useful but I'm trying to think outside the box or more fashion based.
