Hey, I'm Matt and I make some pretty unique dice trays, I think.
They follow the classic layout but have an integrated dice vault that snaps closed with hidden magnets.
I've always loved the use of magnets but disliked the exposed look of them, they spoil the look of the wood, I think. So, I've hidden them.
Each vault holds 4-5 sets of dice, although that'll change if you've got large or irregular sets.
I like mitres.
They're all hand rubbed with raw natural linseed oil and local-ish, ethically sourced beeswax.
I make them in small batches, so far they're all in cherry but I've got white oak and black walnut waiting under the bench for when these are finished.
My first batch are all using fine grain burgundy leather but I'm finishing off a couple of batches in really soft blue and green leathers.
I'm also doing engraving, marquetry and inlays if that's your kinda thing. It's certainly mine.
