However there still isn't a mechanic that supports the Armor Modifications class ability for the Armorer Artificer class. Basically the ability breaks down your suit of Armour into sections that can be given different infusions.
How have you guys got around this? I would like to keep all my information together on D&D Beyond so any methods of doing this cleanly would be appreciated.
I went through and created my own items with the artificer bonuses to them. I chose not to go with the "integrated" route because it might end up messing with the attunements. creating items is really not hard once you get the hand of it.

Ok, so D&D Beyond is a great tool.

I usually just add (integrated) to the name of the item that will be an integrated part of my power armor.
Watch your back, conserve your ammo,
and NEVER cut a deal with a dragon!
Good idea so just add a helm, boots and gauntlets and just add Integrated to their name. Good stuff.
