Now I'm not sure if this could be aloud but I was going through the eldritch cannon description and it states that you learn how to make a Eldritch cannon with woodcarver's tools. Would it be possible to turn a walking stick, staff, or stick into an Eldritch cannon. I'm just wondering because it is like making a magical staff or wand.

But the resulting Eldritch Cannon could not, by RAW, function as a spell focus or (non-improvised) melee weapon.
