Have any of you played with wild artifice - perhaps “science” is new and buggy (given that the laws of physics permit the existence of magic) and prone to create devices that explode in wild surges?
No, but (other than for comedy) why would you want to blow up yourself and fellow PCs?
I get that it's disappointing that none of the Alchemist potions can explode. And IMHO, the non-scaling of your 3rd level feature is kinda crap, but random explosions can be really dangerous to the whole party at low levels.
I kind of love the idea of some crafting mechanics that trade extra awesomeness for the risk of random explosions. Always fun to play the Mad Scientist.
