It should only be a 5 foot reach; I just checked my Armorer and that's what it says.
You aren't playing a bugbear by any chance? They extend the reach of all melee attacks by 5 feet? Or using any homebrew that might do the same thing?
Otherwise, are you sure what you're seeing is the actual reach weapon property? An Armorer's Thunder Gauntlets aren't implemented as an item that would appear in Inventory, it's an action tied to the sub-class, so it can't actually have weapon properties (there should be nothing over on the right under Notes in the Actions tab). But it does have its range listed as "5 ft. Reach", but that's telling you that the reach is only 5 feet, not that it's extended in any way?
Former D&D Beyond Customer of six years: With the axing of piecemeal purchasing, lack of meaningful development, and toxic moderation the site isn't worth paying for anymore. I remain a free user only until my groups are done migrating from DDB, and if necessary D&D, after which I'm done. There are better systems owned by better companies out there.
I have unsubscribed from all topics and will not reply to messages. My homebrew is now 100% unsupported.

On my Armorer character sheet I see that Thunder Gauntlet has the reach property.
However, I can't find any source that claims that TG has reach. Is it a bug, or am I missing something?
