If an Artificer uses an infused item (other Enhanced Arcane Focus) as their spell focus and that item has a +1 or +2, is this then added to spell attack and spell DC?
For Example: Radiant Weapon +1 is used as spell focus, does the +1 get added to spell attack and spell DC.
If so would it work if infused armor was used - eg Half Plate with the Enhanced Defence infusion for +2 AC, would this also provide a +2 to spell attack and DC?
No. Because items say what they do, not what they might do. Using an item as a spellcasting focus does not mean you're making the attack roll, for attack spells, with that weapon. The weapon is providing spell components, not attacking. At least mechanically, in this case. Providing components dors not mean the weapon adds its bonuses to rolls for the spell.
Armor turning a magic AC bonus into a bigger spell attack roll doesn't even make sense. It's not a universal +1 to everything, it's a +1 specifically to armor class. AC has nothing to do with spell attack rolls unless somebody's making one against you.
Enhanced Arcane Focus is a thing for a reason. Use that, instead

If not why not.
Thank you.

Thanks Yurei,
I thought so, but wanted to confirm.
So a +1 staff does not add to spell attack even if it is used for both a spell focus and weapon.
Cheers
