Everyone, meet Ander and Diane Sidabre! They started their lives as Owl House OCs and now I'm using them for pretty much everything, including D&D Campaigns. They're both half elves btw.
Personality: Quiet, Introverted, looks like a ditz, actually anything but, sarcastic as heck, professional mom friend, a little chaotic good, a little lawful neutral, too generous for her own good, basically the biggest Bohemian you could possibly meet, is generally a giant(Very Eccentric) Sweetheart until you tick her off- she's a Rants-alot when ticked off, especially when it comes to the fantasy equivalent of anti-vaxxers. Between her and her brother, she is the braincell of the two.
In the D&D world, she's Guide(Outlander) and a Druid who nomads around, either guiding fellow adventurers as a healer and a guide in exchange for safety and companionship during traveling season, and as a merchant who sells potions, herbs, elixirs and all manner of items and trinkets and working as a healer among the impoverished who can't afford treatment during the times she can't properly travel. A good chunk of this is also motivated by her elvish heritage and life span, since she lives so long by human standards and has earned the wanderlust that comes with some elves, she just, decided to give in to her curiosity and take to practicing her craft on the road. Something she's taken to sticking to more and more as the years go by upon seeing the conditions some people are stuck living in. So she works as a provider. The deer antlers are from an incident gone wrong that wound up in a nasty deer curse. Initially to turn her into a deer, ala old Slavic folklore of old, before being stopped in its tracks by a Sorcerer before it could develop beyond just a set of antlers. In the Owl House verse she doesn't have much of a backstory for them, okay she does, but she just, doesn't want to dwell on the subject and actively deflects questions of them, so no one exactly knows the story behind them except her.
Personality: Awkward, Stupidly confident but can't talk to a person he likes to save his life, can be so smart yet so very, very oblivious at times, Lord of Chaotic Neutralness,so dramatic at times he makes Howl Pendragon look well adjusted, but generally is just a giant, overly enthusiastic sweetheart. Is very much a Daydrinker who has a tendency to throw both his sobriety and sanity out of the window in favour of turning into a chaotic little $#*! whenever there's alcohol in his system. In short, people are glad he was never interested in being an Artificer. He's a creatively motivated person.
And this is her older brother by 7 years, he's also nomadic in the sense he's an Entertainer, he works as an instrumentalist mainly, but also sings and story tells. Naturally so he's a Bard. But alongside that, he's also a freelance seamstress and jewelry maker, and has a knack of working under fellow Artisans for a period of time while performing alongside it until he gets bored, packs up his stuff and moves onto the next town. Like that's pretty much his motif, since he lives so long or at least by human standards considering he's a half elf, he's heavily creativity motivated, and when he's done dwelling on a idea or in a place for too long and it winds up growing stale for him he just, gets up, deroots himself and finds a change of scenery, especially if in favour of a prospect that challenges his creativity. Has the same motivation in The Owl House verse, he's a rebel in his own right there because he hates how their Coven system restricts people's prospects and just how much it's holding people back in creative works and advancements so, he decided to rebel against them. Has a tendency to start bar fights at times.

Wow. Such detail! Is it all imaginitive or do you draw some of the details from people you know? I'm v. new to this and struggling to provide my very first character with a backstory!!
It's okay! And so far yeah, everything's imaginative except for some minor referencing off of other characters and the like, especially with Ander as he was inspired by a very heavy mixture of Julian from the Arcana, Howl from both the book and film version of Howl's Moving Castle and Bo Burnham, while the rest just, trekked on easily from there, especially since I drew him after I drew Diane, as well as the bohemian fashion subculture in Diane's case. Also no worries, I'm relatively new too and still getting the hang of it as well and if you need any help, I'm more than happy to. Sorry for the inactivity as of late.
