So way, way, way, way back in the day (you will see the 1997 or 1998 dates on some of these)...
When we played D&D - in my notebook, I often drew very silly cartoon pictures of the events that were happening. It's a book I've kept - and still have - and because of it being in a note book, it's difficult to scan - so a few years back - after reconnecting with the DM - I posted them on my site.
A lot of these - naturally, are "inside jokes" so may not make sense. But some of them are pretty straight forward ("a band of kobolds" for example).
I love doing stuff like this - because it's a fun laugh (for myself, and typically others in the game - and sometimes out of the game).
I did something similar for a World of Darkness game (essentially Vampire: The Masquerade - except we were hunters... so think like Supernatural and Buffy mixed as one) - and my character was a failed musician stuck in the 80s. So every session I wrote "lyrics" based on that session's events.

Anyway - here's those:
Old School D&D Cartoon Drawings.
If you're familiar with the comic book Knights of the Dinner Table, I also took that comic strip and did edits to basically mimic our campaign...

More recently, I was in an Out of the Abyss game that was remote.
So I did the cartoons in paint - and actually this is probably my favorite of the bunch.

Pretty clever!
