just wondering if any of you legends out there are aware of miniature makers that are NOT Wizkid's Nolzur, The collectable blind pack ones, Reaper or Games workshop (threw that one in there as i use some Hobbit minis for goblins and such.
I LOVE minis and am making my own ones from scratch but i'm always on the lookout for great minis, seeing different artist's takes on various creatures. Some imho are criminally neglected (i think to date i've seen 2 minis of Myconids and i've been playing since 1st edition and basically used to live in the game store).
I use a lot of minis from board games myself. The D&D adventure series games have a lot of great ones, Magic the gathering board games has a bunch, zombicide, arcadia quest etc. Can get quite a few for a good price plus a decent game along with it.
I went for the three 4E boardgames - Castle Ravenloft, Wrath of Ashardalon and Legend of Drizzt. The tiles are also useful if you want to build dungeons.
