Hey! I recently started creating my own worlds for oneshots. Since I'm making everything from my scratch myself I need maps that suit the story I'm creating. I've so far created a oneshot that takes place in a mansion and one that largely takes place in a cave. I keep finding really well-made maps with really specific scenarios instead of just nice well-made simple rooms (That could be used for taverns, castle rooms, mansions etc.) and cave rooms that are super specific with a really obvious altar and maybe a bridge etc instead of just a simple cave and I was really just wondering if anyone knows a mapmaker that creates simple, well-made maps that allow me to create the room instead of having to adjust to what the room presents on the map. (Really not complaining about map-makers but just wondering if anyone knows a map-maker that suits my needs :D)
If you are just looking for a random dungeon, maybe Donjon, or DunGen is a good tool for you.
For creating battlemaps, there are tons of options out there, I use DungeonDraft, which is not yet finished (beta), but it is the one I liked the most. It has a unique style that I like, but it seems that it is also what turns some people away form it.
