So setting up a D&D den in an empty room for me and my friends! Working in getting a table and chairs atm still but for now I am working on DIY decor with a strict budget.
what I have so far:
celtic sword
shield with family crest
wooden recurve bow
shelf with coat hangers
two plastic cloudy see through jar like containers
one larger see through jar like container
glass cilinder container no lid with some rocks
fake black spider
cool hutch i plan to make into an “alchemy” station and use the bottom for storage
Dice tower. You can get all the materials at the Dollar Store.
One-handed battle staves made of PVC. Just need a few bucks of PVC and fittings, and a can of spray paint. Want to take it up a notch, get some paracord and wrap the handle.
thanks for the ideas, atm I have a part of the wall with a shelf I put up which has coat hangers under it! I placed my celtic longsword on the shelf, leaned my wooden recurve bow against the wall there, and leaned my shield with my family crest up against the wall for a spot that looks like where adventurers hang their stuff up.
I have a hutch I am using for the apothecary I plan to set up and will place some scrolls and stuff eventually.
I also have my grandmother who always looks for old stuff looking for a chest I can work on making into a storage that looks like a mimic! so you open the chest to get a blanket or something and teeth line the edge inside with red cloth or paint in the inside.
