1st level: choose fighter, it gives you two martial weapons(pick 2 lances) and fighting style: choose two weapon fighter
levels 2-18: beserker barbarian. you get much more brutal critical. take the dual wielder feat so you can hold both lances. get your strength up to 20.
if you get a crit with just 1, you get 7d12 + 4+4+4+5+5+5. that will get you at least 34 damage, most 111. an average of 64. that is about 1 fourth of an adult gold dragon, that is supposed to be VERY deadly.

But lances are two handed unless you're mounted. So although it would be great, can't really work as easily as you might have thought.

Replace the lance with a greataxe and use the berserker's bonus action attack instead of two-weapon fighting, and you get get the same results.
You mean only with one, right, or else you can't do it.
