Ok, so barbarians are angry, berserkers are angrier, hence berserkers are the best barbarians.
Also here is why... (There will be a difficult choice later as you might have to take a few warlock levels at some time..) But the general point is that barbarians eventually (at 15th level.. bit late but who cares :p) get to rage forever. Well, until they fall unconscious or end it themselves. This is good. Berserkers can frenzy instead of rage, this is better. The downside is getting a point of exhaustion when you end it but at this point why would you unless you're going to rest? Also while frenzying the berserker is immune to both charmed and frightened condition which means immunity to a bunch of bad spells that no one wants to happen on their barbarian. Also they get that extra bonus attack which can be used with a two handed weapon, such as a greataxe. This is a bit rare and of course really nice.
Now, of course the option to simply sleep once in a while is possible as well and would give you that incredible +4 to strength and con at level 20. However....
If you also take a pact of the tome warlock you can take the invocation Aspect of the moon! Now you no longer need to sleep! (and you're immune to sleep effects!) You still need to take it easy, meaning you walk around growling and grumbling about why you ALWAYS have to take the watch, while the rest of the part is sleeping, or trying to... But it's still 24 hours a day frenzy!
Clearly the best barbarian ever, since it's angrier than anyone else 24/7!
Ps, I recommend taking the devil's sight for the other invocation since it's really nice to be able to see so well, but gift of the deeps let's you breathe underwater as well and swim really good, which might be useful at times. Might be nice to try to aim for a combat style as well and go for the unarmed one just in case you're unarmed and just need to really beat the shit out of someone anyways and just prove how much you don't care about being unarmed.
I've never bought into the idea that the Berserker Barbarian rages harder than other barbarians. I just see it as every barbarian rages hard in different ways.
Totem Warrior: Bear Totems rage so hard they can resist nearly any kind of damage. Elk totems rage so hard they can sprint across an entire battlefield
Storm: Rages so hard they summon the might of the elements
Beast: Rages so hard they become like an animal
Battlerager: Rages so hard they turn into a spiky ball of fury
Ancestral Guardian: Rages so hard they summon the spirits of the dead
Wild Magic: Rages so hard that chaotic magic is unleashed
Zealot: Rages so hard they literally refuse to die
Berserker: Rages so hard they can attack more and don't get scared
If anything, I would give the title of "angriest rager" to Zealots. I mean, they just refuse to die. Because they're so angry.
I find Berserker abilities to be rather simplistic implementations of the idea of "angrier than normal barbarians" and because of that, the other subclasses feel just as angry in concept, if not more.
However, I am amused by the idea of multiclassing with warlock for Aspect of the Moon just to roleplay being angry 24/7. That's hilarious. I'm imagining a Barbarian keeping watch all night just shaking his fist at the moon and cursing obscenities.
Yeah, apparently I misread a part though, so they can't frenzy all day anyways ;D They can rage all day though, but they have to start a new one every new minute :)

As for angriest, yeah, you might have a point. And it just hit me that they are VERY hard to kill, since they can just keep raging until someone heals them, or casts sleep on them.. Maybe Elven barbarian to prevent that ;)
And the last part, yes, this is the image I had in my head tbh. poor rest of the party.
Yeah that barbarian is definitely not getting invited into the Tiny Hut.
made me laugh ;D
Also, that makes it even funnier, hearing him being angry about not being invited, "#¤&¤% mosquitos" and "it better not rain cause i'll chop this hut down"
