So I have. Level 7 bard I plan to head to level 9 to get animate objects. If I grab warlock in going pact of tome unsure which patron as for bard I'm lore. What ratio should I take
Bard and Warlock have pretty good synergies, so there are a lot of options. What is your preferred play style? Are you a back line caster intending on animating a horde of objects to fight for you? Then you might consider making a Genie-lock. You can animate your objects and then disappear inside your vessel while yours and flying coins fight for you. That trick only takes one level of Warlock to pull off. Whatever ratio you take, remember that you need to get to 17th level in Bard to get 9th level spells.

Canto alla vita alla sua bellezza ad ogni sua ferita ogni sua carezza!
I sing to life and to its tragic beauty To pain and to strife, but all that dances through me The rise and the fall, I've lived through it all!
Of all the Patrons I would probably recommend against the Fathomless. The tentacle takes bonus action to control and Bards tend to have a lot of things they use their Bonus Action for.

In my opinion, archfey seems like the one that befits a bard the most, at least going by what my vision of a bard's supposed to be like.
Keep in mind, if you do take 3 levels in warlock, you won't be able to pick up your last magical secrets for possibly wish. Then again, that's assuming you even reach that far in the campaign, at all. Either way, 3 is the most i'd say you should go, and I'd even recommend just 2 levels for agonizing blast invocation to make your bard deal great sustainable damage. Action EB, bonus action control your animate objects-- that's loads of damage!
