I can't seem to find the Keen Mind Feat in my list of available feats when editing my Character sheet. It is not listed under Core Rules, Expanded Rules, or 2014 Core Rules 1. My character was created using 2014 rules 2 years ago or so which means I'm definitely using the 2014 rules and I don't THINK Keen Mind is a new feat in 2024. 2. I've taken College of Whispers which probably means nothing but just in case. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
You're correct that Keen Mind is not a new feat for 2024, though there is a new version of it in the 2024 Player's Handbook that works quite differently.
Couple of things to look at off the top of my head:
1. Are you absolutely sure that the character doesn't already have this feat? It sounds silly, but I've seen multiple people bang their heads against the wall looking for a feat that their character already had. It won't shop up in any of the drop-downs to select a feat if you already have it.
2. Are you absolutely sure that the character is still using the 2014 version of the Bard class and you didn't switch it to the 2024 version at some point? An easy way to tell would be to look for the level 2 class feature "Song of Rest", which is only present in the 2014 version. If you have switched to the 2024 class, then this feat might be missing either because a) you don't have the 2024 Player's Handbook, or b) your character's Intelligence is below 13, which is a prerequisite for the 2024 version of the feat.
Thanks for the reply. I'm sure that I'm in the 2014 Bard. Song of Rest is my level 2 and what I did to test was try and add in 2014 bard as a second class - it was already selected. I took a deeper dive into my character sheet and the options. I found the "Manage Feats" button down below my racial traits/languages etc. I guess that's a second way to select a feat that isn't in the build menu. I had the feat selected there only which removed it from the builder menu. Thanks again for helping me figure it out and that I'm not going bananas.

No problem. That "Manage Feats" button is useful for situations where you get a feat outside of normal character progression (e.g. the DM grants it as a special reward, or someone's using a homebrew feat to simulate some feature that D&D Beyond hasn't implemented) but for this exact reason it's probably best to avoid using it for normal feats. Unfortunately D&D Beyond's interface doesn't make that particularly clear.

Just to add, I do have the 2014 Player's Handbook in my content library(which is where the feat is listed) and this character is not in any campaigns.
