Making a Bard character, and I wanted to know between Satire & Lore, which is better? I would really like to go for satire (it looks fun) but I've heard Lore is by far the best. Any opinions or suggestions would be great, thanks!
(I'm also a little unsure on what each offers, so a short explanation would be helpful too!)

"Better" is hard to quantify, as "better for me" isn't always going to be "better for you". As for what each of those subclasses offers, have you read the text for each? If so, do you have specific questions? If you're not reading these things for yourself you're going to have trouble playing your character.

College of satire is UA (playtest), and has been archived and isn't available on DDB (you can homebrew it if you want).
I haven't looked closely at college of satire, but college of lore is definitely good.
