Not sure how others play their Bard's, and being new to D&D I wanted to create a RP personality that would be easy and fun to play.
With my Bard I tried to cross Captain Picard with Dr. Who (Tom Baker) to create a Bard style that kind of broke the stereotype that kept me from using him as my main to begin with during this Campaign Im currently in. After seeing this video https://youtu.be/p9F6_cZm6eg I wasn't sure how the other players and DM would act, it would definitely create tension between players..
The first half of his life, he spent as a healer for the city he grew up in. But the last several years, he began to write of the exploits of his life and began to submit them to an acting troupe he would visit along with his fellow aristocrat friends and colleagues he grew up with for entertainment. But they felt, who better to play the part of his person then himself, so they talked him into learning to act and with time, he gained a second profession and it became a hit. But he needed new material, so he is heading out for new adventures and material, meeting new people and making friends along the way.

Uses his wits, charm and neutral standing as a healer when he can to avoid a fight, and create peaceful solutions when ever possible.
Quote: "Politics are for kings and lords, talk of wealth for merchants, the rest of us should concern our selves with the health and wellbeing of one another."
Custom Campaign Info> True rumor 1: He left his full time medicine practice after loosing his wife during an expedition. He blames himself for not being able to save her. True Rumor 2: He only offers a game of Dragon Chess to distract people he cant negotiate with, in order to use his Bard charms in a more refined way. False Rumor 1: He intentionally allowed his wife to die because he had a mistress. False Rumor 2: He is a spy or has been one in the past. (Started by a woman whose advances he turned down, and local kids who ran with it like an urban legend.) Fear 1: Loosing a patient Fear 2: Being helpless to aid those who suffer when asked.
