I bought the Players handbook for my group thibking we could be able to add a feat to their characters but it just shows the description. Is there a way to add a specific feat to a character?
You can choose to add a feat whenever the character has the option to choose an ability score increase or a feat. If you are talking about adding an additional feat outside of the ability score increase level, then no, that is not supported yet.
For example. In the character builder I make a level 4 druid. When I select level 4 and choose a feat instead of the ability score increase I can select any feat from the drop down menu.
